Bus Pattaya to Ekkamai 1st BTS Stop

Featured Replies

Hi, what's the name of the first BTS station the bus stops at before the main Ekkamai bus terminal?

Can you get off there with a bag under the bus or only for people with carry on?

Thank you

Udom Suk.  Must be carry on luggage.  You can also exit at On Nut, again, carry on only.

tell the driver if u want udom suk or on nut...as said carry on small bag only.

No, one further out nowadays, I think it is Udom Suk... they do stop at Bang Na too but not sure if near the BTS. My recollection is only for carry on baggage, so if you have a case in the hold you need to wait until Ekamai. Sure can be worth it as the bus is hellishly slow for those last few miles.

Yes correct, i was forgetting i used to get off Udom Suk as it was the first BTS stop from Pattaya

First stop Bts Udom Suk, second stop Bts On Nut and then Ekkamai, you have to tell to the driver before departure

just reading those stop names brings back so many memories of all my trips from Pattaya to Bankgok.  Using the buses, using the Bts, an occasional motorbike taxi or taxi itself.  When one travels light as I did and do, and when one is on a long vacation or break from work and time is not an issue, I love the public transportation over there.  Sit and look out the window and see things go by.  Retirement is now 8 months away.

Udon Suk is the first if bus remains on elevated section.

I have seen the bus come down to ground level near Mega Bang Na and stop at BITEC but a bit of a walk to the BTS from there.

I always get off at Udomsuk BTS , just a waste of time to wait until Ekkamai .
