You're the party who made the unsubstantiated claim about Soros. And now you're trying to introduce anti-semitism into the issue. Deflections like these can mean only one thing: you've got nothing.

Are you denying that Soros funs, for example, the Democratic Socialists of America?

How about Act Blue.

Talk about deflection. Hey wait:

Do you classify arson attacks on Tesla as terrorism?

Looks like as always, you have nothing.

Prisoner releases on both sides are part of an agreement signed in February between the U.S. and the Taliban. It calls for the release of 5,000 Taliban held by the government and 1,000 government and military personnel held by the insurgent group as a good will gesture ahead of intra-Afghan negotiations.

China Paid Trump Millions In Rent. Then He Left The White House

During the four years that Donald Trump occupied the White House, the state-owned Industrial and Commercial Bank of China paid him an estimated $7 million to rent space in Trump Tower. Despite the extraordinary circumstances of the deal—involving the government of China, the president of the United States, and millions of dollars—the Trump family portrayed the agreement as a standard business transaction. Previously unreported documents call that characterization into question.

Trump in-laws promote thorny visa-for-sale program in China

Revelations that the sister of Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and adviser, promoted a program offering a path to U.S. citizenship to Chinese backers in a Kushner family project bring new scrutiny to a foreign investor visa program. The Kushner Companies apologized Monday, saying it had not meant to lure investors by using Jared Kushner’s name at an investment promotion event held Saturday at a Ritz Carlton in Beijing. Marketing materials for the event promoted Nicole Kushner Meyer as Jared’s sister, and cited the Kushner family’s “celebrity” status.

It will take at least a year to assess the implications of Trumps actions. Halfway into his presidency and you have a good idea. Good or bad.

That is not what happened. Why  mislead people?

- Ontario Premier Doug Ford said he was temporarily suspending his province’s planned 25% surcharge on electricity exported to the U.S.

- U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick called him and said, let's talk and it was agreed to meet and talk.  As a gesture of good will, the surcharge was suspended, UNTIL after the.  meeting.

- After the call between Lutnick and Ford, a White House adviser confirmed that Trump had also suspended the additional steel and aluminum tariff asa gesture of good will too.

There was no smack down, but. Ford got the attention of. Secretary Lutnick. The Canadian finance minsiter and premier  Ford had a strategy  to wake the USA up. Unlike the UK, Canada is not rolling over.

President Trump puts tariffs on imports, making it more expensive for consumers, this reduces demand affecting the producers. Had it been me, I'd have removed the issue in its entirety. Stop exporting to the United States. This would help achieve the stated goal of the USA no longer being dependent on an insecure and unfair supply chain and encouraging companies to produce in the US.

The UK is living in the past with its so called 'special relationship'. It's never been special. The only way the UK survived WW2 is because of the sacrifices of others and support of the United States.

Whatever you find interesting, no thinking person could look at these numbers and think Trump has reduced inflation since taking office which was the ridiculous and false premise of the OP.

Jared Bernstein, who served as chairman of former President Joe Biden’s Council of Economic Advisers, said Bessent and other members of the Trump administration were simply looking for someone to blame now that economic data has begun to worsen.

“They inherited an economy that was and remains the strongest among all the advanced economies, and they squandered their inheritance in a mere six weeks with policy chaos that’s tanking business and consumer confidence along with markets,” Bernstein said.

Government statistics support the notion that the economy was solid when Trump took office, even excluding the role of government.

U.S. consumers are starting to crack as tariffs add to inflation, recession concerns

Apparently you didn't convince American consumers, Yagoda.

Crack?

Well, Trump's style is pure 80s Dynasty Falcon Crest JR Ewing Vacuous Materialism.

A crack revival makes perfect sense!

Crack is nature's way of saying you got too much money.

But the relief offered by the tame Consumer Price Index report from the Labor Department on Wednesday could be temporary as the data did not fully capture a cascade of tariffs by President Donald Trump's administration, which has caused a surge in consumers' inflation expectations and prompted economists to upgrade their inflation forecasts.

"Trade wars are expected to raise prices in future inflation reports," said Chris Low, chief economist at FHN Financial. "The Fed is sidelined now by price uncertainty."

But the 23% total inflation under Biden is true along with all the corruption and weaponization against Trump.

Right. Pretty much the all the fully developed economies experienced inflation rates similar to what the USA experienced. Is that Joe Biden's fault too. A more rational approach would be to look at what common factors influenced the sharp rises in inflation.

Excuse me, Sir or Madam...

Could you please answer a question

Why is everything you say a lie?

Just curious. 😀

Under President Biden's term from January 2021 to January 2025, the United States experienced a cumulative inflation rate of approximately 16.47%.

This translates to an average annual inflation rate of about 3.89% during his presidency.

Yep. It's tragic. And as one who has seen the total evil and Putin loving that is Trump since he came down the elevator, schadenfreude about the maga cultists eventually realizing how they've been used is faint relief.

Also it appears that the United States subsidizes Canada to the tune of $200 billion a year, and doesn't need anything that Canada has to offer. The US is just being nice. If this is true, then perhaps Canada needs to stop all exports to the US and the US should stop subsidising Canada going forward. If Canada has nothing the US wants, making them the 51st State is pointless. This money can be used to reduce the national debt and reduce inflation. Job done...

So if Canada cuts off oil supplies, cuts off electricity supplies, heavily taxes all oil tankers traversing Canada  from Alaska to the USA, raises tariffs on all US goods to the equivalent or higher than the US rates, does that mean that the USA will not be affected in any way at all?

Twenty-three percent of voters describe the state of the nation's economy these days as either excellent (1 percent) or good (22 percent), and 76 percent describe it as either not so good (45 percent) or poor (31 percent).

This is a change from Quinnipiac University's December 2024 poll when 34 percent described it as either excellent (3 percent) or good (31 percent) and 64 percent described it as either not so good (31 percent) or poor (33 percent).
