Yes, there are certainly a lot there... didn't venture much further though as it is slow to get about.  The ones who come to Pattaya must be the smarter ones, as they have dumped their oversized Mrs!

We used to really like the old Nicky’s. 2 months ago, on a Friday night, we went for fish ‘n chips (used to be great). It was 8 pm and they were out of fish. We left.

 

The food still seems the same to me, but the new place lacks the charm of the old one.

Somewhat true. Charlie Teo is a famous Australian neurosurgeon,  however he lost his licence to operate in 2023 due to a couple of near death patients that died. 

He now operates out of Spain and China.

I agree,a cold lab feel, I'll be surprised if it lasts also because new people won't walk past it as it's hidden away

Yes, but people that required parking are replacing those.
