This was not a discovery by state of the art xrays and certainly not due to irregular shaped packages of drugs. The packages looked very uniform.

How on earth did this guy think he would get away with carrying those drugs into Australia in his suitcase?

I have never been there but if what I have seen on the Discovery channel is correct, a stray fart will get them to check your baggage 🤪

I watch those TV docs about Aussie Customs too. They are scarily efficient - I know one thing for sure - if I ever go to Oz I shall be sooooo careful about what's in my cases! 

That said - more power to them for keeping Oz clear of some nasty diseases in their flora and fauna. 

Vancouver airport had a huge CT looking  scanner for hand luggage. Did bags very fast and no need to take out laptops. Bags scanned and a very fast rate.

Just for personal use? These Aussies overindulge in everything!

In America they seem to be always involved in such activities. A few months ago a local hair salon received a package with some pills. Other activity of those people seem to be prostitution. Very sleazy people. Probably not all.
