The leaders of both of these countries need to be slapped.

Is this what it all about? Taksin cutting off borders used by Thais for the casinos in Cambodia and disrupting the call centres, both with their huge money flows.

all cities in thailand are at risk or not really?

That's the million-dollar question. It depends on tactics and strategy. Perhaps many generals are thinking about that. For example, special operations units might be deployed — or maybe they already have been.

Exactly, the problem is what the generals on both sides decide. If Cambodia has drones, then the issue becomes more urgent.

All over the BBC and ITV since this morning with updates. They showed fighter planes , rockets (and missiles from Cambodia).

I wonder if they will stop international flights ? A friend of mine , Cambodian, left  France for PhnomPenh 2 days ago. Through Bangkok. Can’t get him on phone.

I consider Thailand the bad guy in this.

Cambodia offered to let the International Court adjudicate and Thailand refused.

I thought that the IC adjudicated this sometime this century. Thailand never contested the ruling anywhere near the time limit and then had some lousy excuse when they said, "but, but, but" years later.

Where to, from?

Some International flights have been cancelled due to Typhoon Wipha, and the India/Pakistan airspace closure, otherwise business as usual.

Don't you think there need to be some decisions made?

How many, where, what arms will they bring, logistics needed?

I kinda thought that that was exactly the job of the bigshots, to plan for, at the very least, obvious scenarios, especially with the Shina-Hun-Sen drama and falling out of late. That's been a couple of weeks in the making, right?

Well from the USA to Cambo I can fly via SIN or Vietnam, but thats a really sucky flight. Id like to go to BKK but have no desire to have to transit via Laos.

The only thing I miss in all topics is what happened really... I can not imagine that Cambodia starts to fight, but I know that Thai news is not broadcasting all facts, and only approved news. This is another example I believe...

Yes but one dead person counts more than shots in the air

I'll tell you why we can conclude that Cambodia provoked the situation, just before the firefight the Cambodians had marched into the contested area singing patriotic songs. They were clearly trying to provoke the situation.

Why don't you just stick to talking about EVs.  You obviously not nothing of substance nor history of this conflict.

In addition, more than 112,000 civilians have been evacuated from the border region amid rising fears of further escalation.

Dr Warot expressed deep condolences to the families of the deceased and those injured. He also offered heartfelt encouragement to all Thai citizens, both civilians and military personnel, assuring the public that the Ministry of Public Health is fully committed to supporting and protecting the Thai people during this crisis.
