If you play a lot of golf you know there is tournament golf - follow all the rules.  And there is buddy golf.  Agree on any allowances and go from there.

BTW I doubt I am in Trumps circle of trust.  I've voted against him in every primary in my state.  Never works.  The Democrats force me to vote for him in every general election because they endorse stupid policies and candidates.  Things aren't always black and white.

Is it fair to tee off with a partner and he puts the ball in a Bunker but its ok, cos he can just place a ball on the fairway and likely get on the green on the same shots as you.

Trump's deal will increase the costs of good imported from Europe by 15%. American consumers will pay that. So who is winning? Not US consumers.

The Americans who buy Marmite and smelly cheese will pay more.  Maybe they'll switch to Wisconsin cheese and find they like it.

Saw a short clip of Trump playing golf. He moves pretty good for an old fat guy. Kind of impressive.

meds will get more expensive too

The Power of the Trump Effect equates to WINNING. How about that haters. Now do Biden, you know, that drooling demented fool that needs cue cards to speak and find his seat and gets lost on a stage and shakes hands with the air.

I would agree that the impression left by this most bizarre of press conferences were incredible! Albeit not perhaps in the way you intend.

A bizarre, and very embarrassing stream of narcissistic semi consciousness!

Particularly the way his caddy dropped the ball as the President sprang elegantly from his little electric buggy.

Was that before or after the clip where his caddy was caught dropping the ball?

Maybe.  Until some entrepreneurial Yanks decide to make them in the USA, using well paid US labor.

Besides, tariffs are applied against the wholesale price, not retail.  The markup is so high on meds that a 15% tariff on the landed price will probably amount to a 2% price increase at retail.

Sure, as your medical cost are so low compared to other countries (sarcasm).

And somehow, people with the syndrome will blame that on Trump, too.  Though it's been that way for decades.

and now 15% more

Closer to 2% at retail.   As if the selling price of pharmaceuticals is that closely related to the wholesale cost.  It's not.

Sure, as med prices are very consumer friendly in the USA already.

You obviously don't know much about golf. He moves like a beached whale, and his golf swing looks like he is digging for clams.

Have you ever noticed Trump only plays on the golf courses he owns? That's because no other golf clubs will have him, his reputation as a cheat precedes him.

This is what a follow-through should look like.

If golf courses didn't allow "cheaters", they'd be bankrupt in a month.  It's supposed to be fun, not frustrating.  Unless it's a tournament.  Then, there are hard and fast rules.

Trump plays his own courses for the same reason I stay in the family owned beach house instead of a hotel.  It's nicer, its already paid for, and I get to see if there's anything that needs to be fixed.

USA is the most expensive in the world for all aspects of healthcare including medical drugs.

Think you'll find its the look of someone trying not to piss themselves laughing at the inane comments coming from the US leaders gob and faking a friendship kowtowing to someone who thinks he leads the free world.

He wasn't laughing. He was terrified.

Comparing a bunker versus bad conditions on the course is not the same thing.  However, you and playing partners can agree to ANYTHING and go from there.  Unless you are in a tournament then rules of golf apply.

Curious how often do you play?

Yup.  And meds are something that really should be home grown.  If not at least from a trade partner with a long history of good relations.  Allowing China to make drugs we need for us was nuts.

Actually I never noticed he only plays his own courses.  And as you note golf courses would be bankrupt if they prevented cheaters from playing their courses.

When it's fun golf I don't really care what others do.  Take a drop?  Sure.  Declare the bunker GUR?  Whatever.  What does bug me is people who try to stretch the rules when it is a tournament.  Hey, we have to protect the field.  I'd LIKE to give you a drop but YOU need to explain which rule of golf gives you that drop.  Seems fair enough.  And gimme putts for birdie in skins games are right out.  If it's a tap in then tap it in.

No …there is only golf. Do you not think, after the 18th he will say what a great score I shot…and everyone will clap …

Buddy golf is casual, social golf among friends, often with flexible rules and a focus on enjoyment. Trump is far more associated with this format, playing frequently with celebrities, politicians, and business associates:
