It can be a real struggle to find reliable, competent, fairly priced home repair people in town.

Presumably English speaking will cost more, but an alternative to that is someone with the patience to try to communicate with translation apps.

Currently, I have a need for a plumber. Not urgent like my place is flooding, but not something I want to wait months to deal with either.

Not overly optimistic of getting a good referral here -- but heck, maybe worth a shot.

I have had a couple of pipe leaks over the years.  The buildings I lived in suggested what they said were plumbers.  On both occasions, the guy shows up, checks the leak, then puts a gigantic ball of black tar over the pipe.

It actually stopped the leak.

Since no-one else has come up with a rec I will throw this one in although no idea if he will travel to Jomtien.

Toom (or maybe Dtoom) on 081 399 3630. Biggest issue is almost no English so you really need a Thai speaker if only to get him to what needs to be done.

Very happy with his work, used multiple times, prices however not always the cheapest.
