Always Preaching their uneducated theories to the weak people who follow them.
January 13Jan 13 Popular Post 25 years ago it was already a filthy sewer hole. Dangerous, crap infrastructure, the transportation blows, shabby looking environs, bad food, and all that annoying Catholicism. The women can be a bit fun, but they aren't the most attractive lot in SE Asia, not by a monger's mile. The people in general can be friendly, and they do speak decent English, but they are full of BS and the place is just kind of dull. And 25 years later it's only gotten even worse. More crime, drugs, poverty. And now it gets terribly battered by storms and floods every year. Probably one of the last places I would want to visit again at this point. And retire there? Shiii... Yeah, not in this lifetime.
January 13Jan 13 Author Some of them look more like Pacific Islanders ,big women And the Philippines is more expensive than other South East Asia countries, it is thankyou !!!

Good. Should be banned everywhere.
January 13Jan 13 Possible arrest should not stop you from visiting you should be able to handle yourself in jail didn't you say awhile back you used to be a prison guard? What happened with that anyway you said you only had the job a month or two did you quit or were you fired???SITUATION #3 (1).mp4
January 13Jan 13 This video which is more focused on the tourism industry reminded me of reasons why that after a big tour to consider retirement there, I have yet to even visit again.

Probably not. One of the girls parents might file a complaint at some point.

January 14Jan 14 Popular Post In the 1970's Subic Bay was the "Pearl of the Orient" I know because the T-shirts said so. Subic bay was an outrageous experience for an 18 yr old. You cross over "Sh#t river" and before you lies Magsaysay Drive, filled with live music venues of the latest rock and country music. Because of the Martial Law required sailors off the streets by midnight, we headed past Barretto to Subic City. When the bars closed the mamasan would bring out cases of beer and a block of ice for us to continue drinking on the beach.Room and girl was 50 peso, this was when the exchange rate was around 7 peso to 1 USD. Then in the morning it was a mad dash by special jeepney back to the base. The kid's selling ice cold cokes out of a bucket were a god send. Then back to the ship where we sweat out the alcohol working on deck. Well the days of old are over there, the base is gone, the clubs of yesteryear are all but gone. It's a fun place to visit but I really wouldn't consider living there.
January 14Jan 14 Author I mean is Thailand particularly Pattaya any better I was just reminded that two Grab drivers have been murdered in Pattaya in the last 18 months
January 14Jan 14 Some very nice/good people there.....Some beautiful sights & places.....Mostly, a sh!t hole full of desperate people...... Safety is a big concern......

January 14Jan 14 I did consider setting up some kind of fake address there so as to unfreeze my State Pension. I'd love to know if it is possible.
January 14Jan 14 Popular Post We don't go back to the P.I. While the countryside is beautiful, and the scuba diving absolutely fantastic in Palawan prefecture, we never had a really 'delicious' meal in any restaurant we visited. People were always friendly, prices fine, plenty to see and do, but the food sucks! We found ourselves living on lumpia! To me, a culture's food is important, and we could just 'tolerate' the foods we ate while there. It was OK, but that's as far as it went.
January 14Jan 14 Popular Post Been to the Philippines a few times. Can't say I ever felt unsafe (I am from a dodgy part of Scotland it has to be said, so perhaps my 'standards' are lower). Been to a little jamboree in a poor barangay; again, all okay but I wasn't flashing cash around. The Spanish genes don't help the size of older women, but younger women can be stunning, and there's plenty of older women who are also stunning (wicked sense of humour too!). The country is a mess, with corruption at unbelievable levels (perhaps worse than Thailand), and a leadership that ruined all the good clean-up work done by Duterte, shafted him at Manila airport and got him sent to Den Haag for crimes that wouldn't make many world leaders even blink let alone blush. Oh, and the current incumbent is well known to be a cocaine addict, with a father who was accountable for the downturn that many posters in this thread are alluding to.That all said, I know the crime rate is high, murders due to jealousy are as common as in Thailand, the infrastructure is a joke (corruption mostly), the beaches are amongst the best in the world, English is widely spoken, the food is generally poor quality (low-quality ingredients and too much frying; the dishes should actually be really nice), great diving and the covers bands in bars are some of the best I've ever seen (I've been to over 80 countries including 43 of 50 US States).A mixed review, like it'd be for most countries. Still won't retire there tough, but will happily visit again.Oh, and content creators are a joke to me, and the 82 year old should have adhered to the law (but I don't agree with the harsh sentence).

After searching on YT, a few vloggers said this guy was a "creep" for his content, and one vlogger seemed to support him because he "other vloggers do the same". He posted a video previously of him giving a vape pen to a 6-7 y/o to take a hit/puff. The one vlogger I follow on YT stated the guy was supposedly warned a few months ago about his content but seemed to double down and continued to post even more suggestive content. As for Vitaly, this guy was definitely a POS and deserves what he is going through. He was a clout chaser that harassed innocent people for clicks....including stealing a motorbike from a police officer, stealing an industrial fan from a restaurant, and threatening an elderly lady saying "Madam, I wanna f...ing rob you". No sympathy for either of them.

January 14Jan 14 Popular Post That Vitaly blogger you mention deserved his comeuppance. For instance in one vid he is seen suddenly calling an unsuspecting guy a "pedophile" for everyone around to hear.Besides, why should it be ok to film people for the internet in "third world" countries? Are you allowed to film people for the internet without their consent in Europe or the US?Youtubers filming the night life in Thailand do a lot of harm too, drawing the wrong crowds to Thailand and provoking renewed campaigns against "trafficking". I flag such vids on Youtube whenever I have the opportunity.
January 14Jan 14 Ok - don't ever go to the PI. Nobody will miss you. I've spent considerable amounts of time in the PI during my adult life. The PI is what the PI is. I like the people. I have to know how to handle yourself. Each to their own.
January 14Jan 14 Popular Post I have been there. It's a complete dump. Everything is awful.. Just awful. Put up a map of SEA on your wall, throw a dart and go to whatever country it lands on except for the Philippines. Yes I mean even Myanmar included. That's how crap the Philippines is.
