A Thai taxi driver, Adisorn Wongprakob, claims that a group of foreign tourists involved in a fight in Pattaya refused to compensate him for damages to his rented taxi. The incident, which took place outside an entertainment venue on Pattaya Walking Street, involved a physical altercation captured on video. The video shows the fight among four foreign men, during which one individual was pushed against Wongprakob's taxi, causing a noticeable dent.

Wongprakob shared footage of the incident on January 22, expressing frustration on social media about the lack of accountability. He attempted to intervene in the altercation but was unable to stop the fight. Following the incident, he confronted some of the foreigners involved, seeking compensation for the damage, but they refused, directing him to the other group.

Efforts to obtain compensation from the second group were unsuccessful as they quickly left the scene. Wongprakob noted the importance of resolving the matter since the taxi is rented, and he is responsible for covering the repair costs. The taxi driver has called on local police to assist in identifying the foreigners involved.

There is no confirmation yet if Wongprakob has filed an official police report. The incident has gained attention on social media, leading to discussions about accountability and the responsibilities of visitors in foreign countries, reported The Thaiger.

Please explain. Why do you think I am angry. Actually can´t care less, but I like to voice my opinion.

Also, where is the thing that makes you think I am confused in my comment? You don´t think it´s an obligation to pay for the damage you make? Maybe you have been running away from responsibility all your life.

I know you couldn´t answer the questions. Just went off and posted another stupid reply. Anyway, it shows your comprehension qualities! Somewhere about zero.

Why do you think your questions are worth answering ?

Try to calm down its unbecoming.

You seem to overlook the fact that you are one of these 'idiot foreigners'. Before you start frothing at the mouth in your eagerness to bash out some meaningless response please consider the following:-

You are foreign as in 'not Thai'.

You demonstrate day in, day out from your mindless posts that you are indeed an idiot.

My logic is therefore irrefutable.

Nobody is forcing you to read anything.

You could spend your time in much happier and productive ways but choose to swallow the rage bait every time. What a sad life.

I enjoyed the video. Thank you

And now we know that the vehicle and the driver are uninsured. Wonderful.

If this occurred in Singapore or Japan or UK or Australia, the vehicle insurer would cover the cost of repairs under the Comprehensive or All perils section, less the deductible. The insurer would then subrogate against the responsible party, if identifiable.

Sorry to see this happen to anyone, but this is why vehicles are insured. Neither the vehicle owner, nor the driver saw the need for insurance. OK. Now deal they can with the issues that arise from being self insured.

They probably have third party insurance. I think it's included in the annual vehicle tax charge.

Dear me, what an unseemly carry on for the Family Friendly Historical Fishing Village. Not good for the image at all.

Place needs hose pipes for this and other public coupling behaviour!

Yes, but isn't this first party damage?

No, my life is far from sad. I do spend my time with a lot of productive things. Just happen the like to throw some comments here too.

Nah, not irrefutable, as it is your personal opinion. Others might differ.

Why? Just because you avoided them, as you know it will make you need to question your replies. We can´t have that, right?

no fighting no fighting no fighting no fighting no fighting no fighting 😆

Why did the taxi man leave his car standing there?

Bloke with the New World Order shirt and chain whip was pretty ineffectual.

Brits?

What's that old line? "No good deed goes unpunished"?

Maybe they'd cover it, but then they'd probably jack up his insurance rates.

Make sure to track them down, make them pay, or send them to IDC until they do, when they are done paying.....deport and blacklist them.
