Alas haven't used my one bike for years so sadly cannot be any help.

I am still basically camping whilst looking for somewhere more permanent. The virus thing curtailed that for a while.

Exactly.

BTW. I bought some alligator clips and used my RC battery charger at 12v to get my Lambda bypass widget to show signs of life. Suspect now that the Gunson will work perfectly.

Like the Duke. Pity about the choke.

With that amount of slap. Your barrels must be toast.

I've replaced the piston and cylinder and it runs great now.

Your had a busy couple of days but accomplished a lot. Glad the boots worked out well. I found a good shoemaker here in CR as well has fixed quite a few pairs of my size 15  boots and such. So for 1850 baht  you sure got value.

Just ordered front brake calipers piston rubber kit to replace the old ones.

Also ordered a clutch friction plate kit.

$93 for the brake rubbers.

$90 for the clutch plates.

Strange prices. ????????????

Emptied the bikes 28 year old fuel tank that I filled and left soaked in vinegar for 2 days, it had been left standing for 6 & 1/2 years before I took on the renovation.

Sooooo much debris came out, hope to cut down on blocked fuel filters now. ????

Glad it didn't eat a hole thru somewhere.

Did you do some sealy type dealy,

or rinse & go. ?

This morning the weather looked fantastic. So I got my favorite bike outside. Should have tried it a few days before, the bike had not been used for 6 months. The Honda did not have an issue starting, same not been used for 6 months.

Well, battery absolute flat. Nothing going. Even the battery charger did not recognize where + and - is.

Off to town, lucky he had that size. Battery in, but now it looks like raining soon again.

At least next time I can enjoy myself with the bike.
