Why Kamala Harris Lost: The Challenges of a Complex Campaign
Oh, I think that will primarily be taxes on the wealthy, but any tax cuts will hurt the economy because there will not be a corresponding cut in spending. Tax cuts will increase our national debt, which is already at $47 trillion (I think). -

Man Linked to South Thailand Terrorism Gets 5+ Years for Weapons
In a landmark case, Azman Porloh has been sentenced to over five years in prison by the Na Thawi Provincial Court for his role in unlawfully possessing and accumulating military weapons. Despite facing numerous allegations of terrorism and violence in Songkhla, this is the first trial to conclude against him. Azman, suspected of orchestrating high-profile terror attacks, was arrested with four associates on 17 September. The arrest took place on Highway 42, a major route connecting Pattani and Narathiwat, where authorities recovered a flag linked to the BRN separatist group and other incriminating evidence from his vehicle. His criminal dossier is marked by 18 outstanding warrants, with 13 related to security and terrorism concerns, and five to vehicle theft. Notably, he is accused of a destructive bombing incident in 2019 and a December 2022 railway attack causing multiple casualties and injuries. However, these accusations remain untried. Yesterday's court verdict focuses solely on charges regarding the illegal possession and storage of arms, marking a significant turn in his ongoing legal battles. The outcomes of other pending trials remain closely watched by the public and officials alike. Photo: The Thaiger -- 2024-11-08 -

The recent Channel Three record printed chilling CCTV pictures that captured the tragic murder of Arduenan in its entirety. The pictures indicates an argument intensifying between two people till Huan pulled out a firearm and shot Arduenan six times, ensuing in a fatality. In response, local authorities, which includes the municipal office and Chana Police Station, hastily imposed a ban on road stalls alongside the footpath on Ratsarat Road. This decision is intended to decorate public safety and reduce the risk of similar incidents in the future. By limiting congestion in public spaces, authorities aim to create a safer environment for residents and pedestrians alike, ensuring crowded areas are higher regulated to minimize conflict. -

Republicans begin walking back campaign promises
"Narrowing" and "benefit(ing) fewer people" is backtracking. I stand by the original title. "Mr. Paulson, a potential nominee for Treasury secretary, said that several other of Mr. Trump’s proposed tax cuts — including not taxing tips or overtime, and restoring a deduction for state and local taxes — should also become narrower so they benefit fewer people and cost less money."
