Road Rage: Can I get my key back? It's in your head.....

Thai caption: Can I get my key back

A motorcyclist was furious that the bike in front had stopped suddenly.

So he got off and walloped the rider over the head.

Moments later he wondered where his key was and went back to find it.

It was embedded in the head of the other rider.

Sanook went to find the protagonists of a story that would fall into the category of "You couldn't make it up!".

Bank, 18, the injured party, said he had dropped something and stopped to pick it up.

This enraged Thay who assaulted him. But Bank didn't feel much, he was just a bit dazed.

Thay then came back and said: "Give me back my key".

Bank said: "I don't know where your key is".

Thay countered: "It's in your head, mush".

Bank told Sanook that when he felt up by his temple there it was! He had a key sticking in his head!

Bank said: "I can't get it out.....man jep (it hurts).

Lots of apologies followed and there was an offer of 3-4000 baht compensation.

Thay, a hospital porter, said he didn't mean it, he was drunk at the time. "We're not rich, don't send me to prison, why has this caused so much trouble?", he asked.

The police have charged him with assault causing grievous bodily harm.

The story was featured on the Facebook fan page of Rider Gossip.

Yet the police only charge him with assault...... Not condoning the attack in any way, but if the victim was wearing a helmet the key would not have entered his head....

  • He used being drunk as an excuse, he was on the road on his scooter?

Well I guess that is one way of stopping the drunk idiot from riding away from the scene.

Amazing that the guy is dumb enough to think that driving drunk, and stabbing someone in the head with a key, which could have killed him, is only a minor incident!

Judging by how far that key has entered his skull, I'm of the opinion that the man has no brain to injure ????

Unfortunately, it is only a minor incident here........

Wow, there is just so many things wrong in one story! Rage, drunkedness, apathy, nonchalance. I'm going back to bed.

So, he is not charged for driving drunk?

His brain was not running at the time since the key had not been turned to the Start position....

Dude works (probably) moving blooded bodies around in a hospital; yet wonders what the problem is all about!!!

Admitting being drunk rider, and physically injuring another person will not get you any browny points !

1 Thai guy stabs a man in the head with his own key another Thai - no bail at 90k unlike the Brit guy that hit a dog with a pole - double standards unbelievable
