It's called democracy Sandy and look on the bright side, it could as easily been John McDonnell, that must lift your spirits.

Wrong, it is called autocracy, but then you would have to be able to recognise the subversive intent. Very difficult through those rose tinted glasses.

Imaging you have free trade for decades and then someone introduces harsh border controls and they call it progress.   Someone should have mentioned that in 2016. How many people would have

  • It wasn't free trade, we had to pay an annual rent for it, didn't you know?   It's reminding Mr Barnier that the EU doesn't get free exports to the UK, something the Germans have gotten us

I am not sure about Jesus, but Moses apparently returned on 13th December last year. He's going to lead the Children of Brexit to the promised land.

He promised the children of the UK quite a few things over the years.

Unfortunately they didn't work out.

Crossrail -3 years late and 650 million pounds over budget.

The Boris buses- cost over 300 million pounds.

The Cable Car- cost 60 million pounds, used regularly by just 4 commuters.

The Garden Bridge, a failed project costing £53m, including £43m of public money.

Boris island airort project- never built, millions of pounds wasted on promoting a project far, far beyond his estimates.

The water cannons sold for scrap at a loss of 300,000 pounds.

Boris is not the new Moses, he's just a very naughty boy.

Will democratic consent "snap" when the UK is forced to accept US rules, or Canada rules, or Australian rules etc etc.

The thin end of the wedge.

The prime minister’s Europe adviser will argue that the UK’s standards of regulation are often higher than the EU and that democratic consent “would snap” if either side was forced to accept the other’s rules.

Why should the EU change its rules to suit the UK?

Oh yeah its because of English exceptionalism.

Not going to happen. You Brexiteers need to realise the UK is a small country with a small manufacturing base (thanks Thatcher) that is going to get even smaller.

But thats OK because thats what you voted for.

That was built for the Olympics and it was profitable .

Notice you just use the regular commuters and not the people who use it but not regularly to give a distorted view

Hence my line ……..Why even come Brussels  and sit down U.K....?  E.U. made clear it wont change stance ...

It did not dawned yet your 3+ years trying did not changed anything ... ?

Wasn't that the time that Teresa May was PM? A Remainer PM who supposedly said many times that the UK will exit the EU by a certain date and then extended the date twice more. The same PM who said that a no deal was better than a bad deal. The same PM who nearly lost an election and ended up with a reduced majority? The same PM who tried 3 times to get her Brexit deal through parliament and failed every time.

Of course the EU wasn't surprised or concerned and didn't even bother to change stance.

In December the UK had yet another election and Boris was re-elected with a Brexit mandate and an overwhelming majority and went ahead with it. He told the EU that the UK had formally served notice that the UK would leave by 31st December 2020 and we will, deal or no deal.

Now the EU is waking up to the fact that they cannot push the UK PM around any more.

Yet their are remainers like you and a few others on TVF who still cannot accept that you have lost and still long for the "glory days" when the EU told the UK what to do. Sadly you cannot seem to believe or accept the fact that the light at the end of the tunnel is not a train coming the other way, but the light that says we are out and we will stay out.

UK Brexit negotiator accused of treating Britain and EU as 'two different planets'

Verhofstadt says it would be a ‘hell of a job’ to achieve success using David Frost’s approach

Boris Johnson’s chief Brexit negotiator has been accused of treating the EU and the UK as if they are “living on two different planets” after vowing to break all regulatory ties with Brussels.

Guy Verhofstadt, the former Belgian prime minister who has led the European parliament’s approach to Brexit, said it would be a “hell of a job” to secure a successful outcome from the negotiation using the British approach.

“It’s not a good thing that we continue to discuss the future relationship as if the UK and Europe are living on two different planets because the UK market and the market are so close to each other – physically, geographically,” Verhofstadt told reporters during a joint press conference with Sadiq Khan. “And so, these things are so intense that we have to look at it in a little bit of a different way than to simply say, this is a pure free trade deal.”

Do you really in all honesty believe that Boris 80 seats majority make impression on E.U. matter? Like I said before a few miles out of the Cliffs of Dover that 80 seats  fades ….on E.U. soil ????

This is how kids behave. Not how adults running a country behave. Unfortunately.

But that's the new reality, where experts are deemed boring. Where facts are falsified.

England, you are truly led by donkeys. It's a real shame.

What is truly worrying. That Trump like blonde donkey, who was also born in New York City, has by now written letters and given instructions to all UK's nuclear submarines, what to do, where to target fusion bomb tipped missiles in case these boomers can not contact homebase.

That is the real power Boris Alexander actually holds.

Of course Boris Johnsons 80 seat majority makes a difference, when May was running the show all we got from the likes of Barnier, Verhofstadt and Tusk was snide remarks and sarcastic comments, we sure aint getting that now, I wonder what has changed, oh I know Johnsons 80 seat majority.

The EU are bricking it wondering how they can bridge that gap, and it'll take more than a Cadburys Snack to bridge it.

So what are you trying to say, we should abandon democracy because you don't like the result of the United Kingdoms referendum.

These people tried to overturn the result of the referendum and guess what, not one of them is a MP anymore. Democracy fully functional and working for the majority and not the minority.

Who really has time to care about England's referendum anymore?

It's done and dusted. England has a new PM who knows the best words.

It's time to move on and think what are the real life consequences to the rest of the world. Are there any? Is England anymore important? It probably still is, quite like Russia is.
