Eldery people must stay home .. okay, okay... But at which age are we old ?   I'm 71 old and when I cycle with my MTBike, a lot of young 40 year olds find it hard to follow me ..

Thailand has closed all of its borders - land, sea and air - to foreigners trying to enter the country.

That is quite drastic l, they have Corona tests now that can be done within the time it takes to check-in at the airport.

Why couldn't they test felangs when they first arrive at the airport and the results would be known before the flight departs  .

What I did also notice recently in a interview with a female Politician who was going to have a meeting with Prayrut , she said " we need to find a way to help foreigners leave" and she didnt say "*Helping them stay*

Dont think that this government likes foreigners too much

gentlemen in brown may enforce 'advice' as they see fit.

Why you Guys love stay in thailand

Thailand have nothing

Everything is expensive

I guess how love stay in thailand only people love drunks and ladies

I only waiting my country allow flight again then I go back. Never come back thailand

I live here one year I see only rasist

Well for me Thailand has a lot more going for it than if I were to go back to the UK. My Thai wife and family are here, and no I don't get drunk or chase ladies. Depending on where you live Thailand can be expensive especially in the big cities and tourist places. Out here in rural Thailand it is not that expensive, but then again I live with my Thai family in my wife's house, eat either Thai food or western food that I make myself.

Having lived in Thailand on and off since 1993 and fulltime since 2000 I have seen very few racists and most of those were farangs bashing Thais.

I wish you luck in traveling back to your own country and I do hope that you keep the last bit for as long as you live.

It's closed to foreigners unless you are a diplomat or you fly the plane.

So I guess we will all need to rent our own planes and be our own pilots to be allowed in Thailand. John Travolta, you lucky son of a b*tch with your own Boeing 747...

Obviously as they've gone past the curve first

That's what we call a rolling start.. ????

If ever there was a classic case study of too little, too late, it is Thailand. Madness to have Chinese tourists still coming in, sheer idiocy to maintain internal Immigration office functions enabling virus distribution.

I'm stocked up with non-perishable food, and self-isolating for 2 - 3 weeks. It's going to hit hard.

I guess all the ventilators are reserved for Prayut and his cronies.

Only referring to the present stage ….. can become forced later , but is not yet

It is strange that the are only allowing foreigners in with work permits. Plenty of other legal long stay foreigners such as people who bought the expensive Thailand Elite, as well as people with marriage & retirement visas. Hopefully this will be corrected soon.

You really think that immigration cares to read Richard Barrow's tweets?

I read it as "no".

WP and diplomats only.

And a post discussing moderation has been removed.

By I read it as no, you mean if a foreigner, retired or married with a Thai went abroad he cannot come back for the moment?

That must have been her evil twin sister you spoke to.

So she lied to you as well, and probably the other boy friends too. :clap2: ???? :clap2:

Where I live people are treating it like a holiday.

See people here drinking and eating in big groups. Wife just got a call asking if she wanted to go drink beer( no doubt hands in ice separated in glasses)

I love the previous thread " Curfew isn't even discussed", so wait until tomorrow morning to wake up to a breaking news article which says curfew now in force.

And then by midday a flip flop of course

Yes.

Diplomats and WP holders are specifically mentioned as OK.

Of course TiT so who knows in reality.

At least if they get stopped by the police they can prove that they were on their motorbikes and not sitting in the open bed of the truck.

Actually the writing was on the wall back in January. I am still astonished how people saw what was happening in China, and thought they were safe from this. It was only a matter of time, and everybody had ample time to prepare. What's even crazier is how certain countries still are not reacting and are far from prepared this late in the game. Reacting is not sufficient in such an event, proactive preparation is crucial

You'll be old when you stop cycling on your MB.  BTW, I do the same every morning.  Gotta stay fit and healthy for a much younger wife!
