Same problem in every town in the world. Governments have really got this wrong

Our days it is difficult politically to justify letting die the elderlies to save the jobs of bar girls.

But I agree that in a couple of years we may find out that Coronavirus, if let run it's course, would have reduced the global life expectancy by only a few months.

In another month or two things will be much worse...

Always look on the bright side of life except in a pandemic panic it's damn near impossible.

Not the same. In many Western nations there is government assistance to fall back on. In many countries the governments will be rescuing businesses to keep them alive.

I don't want to downplay the severity or repercussions of this pandemic but it is not possible to contain it one can only slow down the transmission by small amounts.  The answer is a vaccine or medical treatment not annihilating the economy.

OK< so why is Germany coping well? China has flattened the transmission curve and Japan and Singapore are doing well too.

Yes, it's bad, but there's still hope.

.............and spread all her diseases?! No, thanks.

In an earlier post about Issan returnees, you denied that you had a bias towards these girls.

You're forgetting the drugs bill.

10 Ya-baa or Ya-Ice tablets a day soon adds up.

A few grams of reefer as well.

And a sizable alcohol habit to climb down from.

Most of these girls had a thai boyfriend (maggot) living of them as well so now the girls go home and accept to live in issan, will the maggots go as well and go sleep every night 7pm and exist on just rice ?? Not a chance but how will he pay for the pool halls , karoke lifestyle he is used to ? ? In the west people are buying guns

What do these guys do when they get to 40? Assuming they haven’t died of HIV or meth abuse. Serious question

Am personally enjoying it immensely so far.  Air quality excellent, less infernal traffic - so less background noise, the Ocean/Bay water is blue again,  and less garbage on the beach and sidewalks.

If the restaurants all close tonight, that will be unfortunate, but of course can still order online with foodpanda etc...

It will all be over by Easter,  the POTUS has spoken, PM will follow  5555

Where's your sense of humor in times when you need it?
