Mine was aged 11, on a trip to London(1977)  - Something Better Change by The Stranglers. And how music did change - the flares were immediately cut to drainpipes and long hair to spiky. I did have Bohemian Rhapsody(1975) but I think my mum bought that for me.  -

Wake Up Little Susie by the Everly Brothers, 1957. The days when you could listen to the record in the record booth before buying.

My Old Man's a dustman - Lonnie Donegan.   Think it was 1960.   Anyone know what "gorblimey trousers" are?

If it's Wombling In The Rain, nothing to be ashamed of. Mike Batt wrote some great songs.

Can't remember first single, but album always remember whit original cover. Guns N' Roses Appetite for Destruction buy from Sweden 1987. Still have it.

That reminds me; do you remember Max Bygraves's "I'm a Blue Tooth Brush you're a Pink Tooth Brush", same era. I must have been around 5 years old.

I have enough shame without prompting further memories.
