Sexy dancers turn to cutting durian amid coronavirus crisis.

Daily News reported that the Thai public were resorting to do anything to make ends meet amid the coronavirus pandemic.

 

And that included a group of dancers from Chanthaburi who found themselves with no work after pubs and entertainment places shut down.

 

Sanong, 50, an orchard owner in Rayong was contacted by the group who said they could do anything, they were not afraid of putting in a shift.

 

Okay, said Sanong....you asked for it.

 

 

He put the troupe to work shimmying up trees to cut durian and collecting rambutans and longans.

 

The eye candy proved their worth. Sanong said the ladies - aged 20 to 26 - have proved more than a match for his male workers and their graft earns them 1,000 baht a day.

 

Their leader Tittida said it was a case of needs must in these virus affected times.

 

Daily News published many pictures of the ladies putting their back into it.

Story of Thailand.  Many Thai males desert their pregnant wives & never pay for their child's upkeep.  Lazy incompetents who are frequently drunk; violent towards their wives/girlfriends or towards farangs when they are mob-handed.

 

The above generalisations are obviously meant humorously.  Over the last fifteen years I have met a number of honourable, decent Thai males.  That number is three.

I would say good for them, they have demonstrated adaptability, resourcefulness. IMO Thai women have to have those qualities to compensate for Thai men.
