Yes but below my nose because like many I have the intelligence to know I breath oxygen and not Co2 which creates Hypoxia ( lack of oxygen to the brain and body ) No duh! That is not all hypoxia causes. A plethora of other conditions.

So Stadtler can go maskless with confidence. People who claim however that there is a blanket Thailand-wide mandatory requirement to wear masks can be arrested by Thai police and have been. So be careful about claims you make about masks.

Excellent point. I've never worn a mask throughout this crisis and don't plan to either, unless, by the time I go for my extension I might need to at the immigration office but that's at least a month away and may be later depending on whether the amnesty is extended or not.

 

Around me less than 50% of people are wearing masks.

 

A website comparing mask mandates claims they are required nationwide in Thailand, but this is based on a ThaiPBS story from late March that only mentions a couple of provinces and situations like public transport. The website also falsely claims masks aren't compulsory in China, but universally worn. This is equally false. China is very strict on mask usage and people in Hubei have been arrested for not wearing one, since late January. Obviously in remote rural areas it's difficult to enforce a mask law and I assume if you're out in nowhereville, China, chances are no mask needs to be worn but in urban areas most definitely, yes.

I'm just applying common sense. I can't drive a car with driving glasses AND a mask, the glasses fog up. Any coronavirus is sealed in the car anyway. Likewise, the face shield on my scooter helmet is sufficient, I don't need the mask as well. I don't wear a mask when I am playing golf, I'm on 150 acres of land with one caddie for chrissake. The sine qua non of any exercise is the ability to breathe freely.

I wear a mask when it is required in the malls, and as a courtesy to others when in close proximity e.g. a lift.

I'm just wondering when Stadtler says he has been tested for Medical School, State Bar and Mensa, whether any gave him a pass grade.

I often wear it on my arm when going around in the compound & local sois, that way its clear to anyone that I do intend to wear it when entering shops and/or getting closer to other people ????

I was wondering as well.

I also do not talk to idiots who do not wear one, and dont take the lift with them. I feel ashamed to be white when i see all these ridiculous people outside without mask. Sad that the virus does not only target idiots.
