We are very well aware of how it looks on the government meeting here in Thailand. It that is what happened I agree totally with the guy. If he walked out in anger becasue people didn´t agree with him and thried to talk back to him, than he is his usual charming self that just can´t hack it in society. Like I say, we need a video to make a fair judgement. Not like all poster before me, just judging because they want to be in the clique that hates. MP's were listening and that's why they were laughing. Looks, like he was telling jokes about how poor he is an not involved in corruption. Probably he also tried to tell a joke about $10mln his daughters deposited in Singapore several years ago. When kidding people he should realise, that they may be more informed, than himself. Video was broadcast and to be found on yt and fb. Will be shared by many citisent as a proof, how pathetic their PM is

internationalism Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 it's not the first time he walked out. he did it also when accused of failing to defend constitution in his oath "As members of the opposition took turns criticizing Prayuth’s refusal to say he would defend the constitution – as required to hold his office by that same constitution – the public’s attention seized on the moment Prayuth walked out while a member of the opposition was speaking." https://coconuts.co/bangkok/news/pm-walks-out-on-oathgate-debate-in-thai-parliament/ 2
mtls2005 Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 Classy as ever... Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha responded to the question by quipping at the petite parliamentarian, “you are becoming shorter and shorter because you are hiding behind the protests.” The taunt was taken up online under the hashtag #อีเตี้ยหลังม็อบor Tia Lung Mob (midget behind the protest). https://www.thaienquirer.com/24462/move-forward-party-slams-mob-midget-insult-calls-for-more-professionalism-in-no-confidence-debate/

Srikcir Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 Just a reminder that then (I recall) NCPO Chief Prayut invoked Article 44 to create the EEC in order to 'expedite' its formation and subsequent immediate flow of foreign investments into the EEC project. Article 44 suspends a number of laws and regulations (ie., anti-corruption, EIS) and was (I recall) protested by various city planners in the affected area for not being consulted regarding their own planning and issues (water supply for agriculture, population & support services demands). So maybe it's best that PM Prayut walks out and doesn't want to truthfully confront serious questions about the resulting current social/economic mess that resulted. 2

Laughing and mocking each other while trying to solve important matters is not in theirwork descriptions. Still not saying I agree with the PM. Actually I can not care less. What I do care about is all generic posts and comments from the TV-trust that always acts like children. I have created my zone in Thailand, where my life goes on in perfect harmony with my wife and children. That´s all I ever going to need.

poskat Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 I think I will stop here because no one is listening On my first day at chula, the executive committee at the faculty asked me to give a talk about my research. About 15 min into it, I looked around and saw that no one was listening, just chatting among themselves or on their phones. I stopped and asked if they could all hear me, as no one was paying attention... I got a lot of shocked looks.... 1

Popular Post spidermike007 Posted February 19, 2021 Popular Post Posted February 19, 2021 He is accustomed to such a grand level of featly to his subordinates, that it is probably quite a shock when people do not treat him as the great man, that he thinks he is. He deserves alot of flak. He is incredibly incompetent, he has done nearly nothing to help the people of Thailand during this pandemic financially, and he is showing a horrendous degree of distaste for the opposition, for the protests, and for the concept of progress, change, and anything that moves the country forward, and improves the lot of the people. He and his army are more unpopular than ever before. In reality, what he should be doing and and saying in a speech to the nation is: "I am so sorry. I could have stopped this second wave from happening. Same goes for my health minister. We are both handing in our resignation, starting tomorrow. We really dropped the ball, and failed. It is the right thing to do. I now realize both myself and Anutin have been way over our heads, this entire time. We take responsibility. Forgive us, if u can, but we will never forgive ourselves for failing you, the people of Thailand. 2 2

Yeah, I might just be. However, I do believe it is a quite perfect description of any country´s perliament at present time. Years ago there were something called respect in the world and something called proper and decent behaviour in different situations. That was something very important especially for elected persons and politicians. Unfortunately today generations have chosen to overlook that fine tradtition. That is something truly visible in all places in society. I am blaming smartphones and social media for that. Just take an example with the girlfriend and boyfriend that goes out drinking coffee together. Today many don´t even talk or look at eachother sitting by the same table. Thier faces are totally sunken down staring at each smartphone. That´s total decay of a society, that makes a bad start for everyone in life. What do we think that leads up to?

Many things lead to where we are today. Regardless, here we are. If you take (or steal) a public office you must face reality. Prime Minister means primary leader.
