condo manager said do not feed cats inside the property, even just few cats live here since so many years.

I will not stop feeding them and I do not care to tell him at the same time i will spit in his face, but,

 

what are the legal rights of a condo manager to tell people that it's forbidden to feed cats in the property ?

what are the legal rights to fine people and how to force people to pay a fine ? This is BS for me, there is no way that a private entity can fine anybody for any reason and especially this one.

 

then do you have an idea how to remove this manager and how much is he paid ? is it the condo committee that decides who is the manager, and for how long do they have a contract ? is his salary public or can we request these information officially ? When someone is an idiot I can be more stupid than him. He is just lucky that I live in his country and not the contrary...

cats are living in the property since years and the property is huge as a football field, so do you think that I will accept that a piece of $$$hit of a slave of a juristic person to tell me what i can do or not ?

Are you going to pay the bills to ensure the cats are spayed so that there are no more strays hanging around the condo complex getting fed, attracting other cats etc ?

 

 

Stray cats can be a nuisance... it seems you want to attract them while someone responsible for the Condo on behalf of all the tenants / owners wishes not to attract those cats. 

 

IF you want cats, live in a Condo / apartment / house which allows them and have your own cats. 

 

 

Condos have bylaws one of which will usually regard pets.  It is the managers duty to enforce these rules/regulations.  If pets aren’t allowed, expect to get fined.

You’re getting extremely angry about feeding a cat.....  you have some issues.

 

 

For the record its perfectly reasonable for the people working on the Juristic committee to advise you of the regulations.

 

For example, my Son and I were told we cannot use the Swimming Pool which is closed due to Covid-19. i have not decided I’ll spit in the face of any of the juristic committee, neither I have a called any member of the juristic committee a piece of $$$hit, or a slave or any random expressions of anger. 

 

There are condo rules. You should abide by them or move.

my pool was supposed to be closed, I open it every morning to swim when i am alone.

Yep... You’ve definitely got some mental issues. Forget about the cats, get yourself to a specialist, there is medication you can take which could help.

He should evict you asap. It is private property, so you are a guest, try to behave like one.

If you purchased the place in your own name, then you have a seat in committee - now you just need to convince the rest (51%+ Thai) that the manager should be replaced and cats allowed in the condo.

 

The common fees collected by the condominium are used for maintenance of the building, as well as salaries of the staff that take care of the building. The manager could be employed directly or the property could be managed by a management company, like what most of recognisable named properties are.

 

Condos are in their right to come up with any rules they wish to, as long as they agree to it in a committee meeting by majority of those present voting for it.

 

If you are only renting that place, then you have no rights whatsoever and if go against rules of condo, your landlord could be forced to evict you.

If anyone reports you, management could severely fine you, or hand you over to police where you could be charged (including jailed) for flouting COVID regulations, assuming you are in a red area that has pools closed by ministerial order.

I would have to guess that you are American, and also likely a Republican...

 

Anyway, back to the issue at hand. Are there unowned "Soi dogs" also prevalent on the property? Do people feed them or is that forbidden also? 

 

If you want to feed the soi cats, then adopt them and move them into your condo. Never let them out into the land associated with the condo. Clean the cat litter regularly and give them all the food they want.

Not anywhere near to me, otherwise  Ill  have to buy the  land next door  for my stray and roaming free  pitbull sanctuary.????

I'd throw the food over the fence and then maybe the cats would hop on top and yowl all night.  And I would wait for the pool to open and then pee in it.  But I'm American and a sorta Republican, so we have our ways of dealing with it.

I've  found in life a  lot of the so  called  animal lovers  tend to have a  similar mentality without any reason or thought  for  others or  for the problems they create.

It’s folks like this that remind me why I don’t actively seek out other expats as friends. There seems to be a surprising percentage of absolute fools among us. 

Stray cats stinking the place up, pissing everywhere, breeding, carrying fleas.

You are a class act if that is the environment you prefer.

 Be a decent human round them all up, have them neutered,  then de-fleaed, and rehomed.

Judging by your attitude it is you the manager wants rid of, not the cats.

You think you are above the law, what a disgrace you are.

Many of the Thai residents should be fond of the cats. I would find out what they think about his decision.

No condo can fine anybody in a property, only public authorities as cops can fine people. This is ridiculous, how any private entity could enforce the fine ?

Also, if it is not clearly written in the condo rules that you cannot feed animals outdoor, it means that you can.

They will have to vote to change the rules. Do not listen to people here who know nothing and seems happy with this.

I also feed stray animals and nobody will ever stop me until I die.
