Popular Post spidermike007 Posted June 15, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 15, 2021 Nothing but a dog and pony show from these super corrupt creeps running the NACC. When was the last time they arrested, tried and convicted a high level anyone here, in a current position within the local franchisees (police), immigration, customs, the army or the administration? Never, is the correct answer. They are not about prosecution. They are a protection racket. 4

It's a very popular statement made by the Thai's and I'm guessing since you used it, you've also heard it coming from the population as well. Gives me a good laugh everytime; as if I'm supposed to care, who they are? I get it's their country, though when they come to ours we still treat them as human beings, and respect their space. I've never felt a need nor known anyone who tried to express that an other should know who they are, other than perhaps "do you know me" or "where have I seen you before?"

Mr Meeseeks Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 Surprised he still gets a visa to get into UK etc. Someone should write their local MP about it.

It was reckless, but not deliberate, he didn't mean or want to kill the police man. It was on the motorway, motorcycles are not supposed to be on the motorway. The victim was a policeman, who was part of the system and personally would have received kickbacks, bribes etc himself for similar incidents. I am sure he would not have expected anything to be different. I personally know of a Farang driver in Phuket who killed a Thai on a motorcycle. He had a few beers, but says he wasn't drunk (I believe him) and admits he turned into the victim and was at fault (although he says he thought the Thai was speeding but that couldn't be proved) The farang paid the family compensation, paid the cops/judge and didn't do time and didn't even have his licence suspended. I know of two similar cases with farangs but not personally. Boss did compensate the family. Sure, in Farangistan it would be normal for this to result in jail, but in Thailand normally if you sort out the family with adequate compensation and they are all good there is no need to go to jail. It was an accident, a reckless accident, but there was no intention. It was on Sukhumvit Road and not on a motorway. Your excuses that this is normal behaviour in Thailand is no reason not to go after him. He should take responsibility for what he has done. Running like a coward isn't taking responsibility. https://www-bbc-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-53521586.amp?amp_js_v=a6&_gsa=1&usqp=mq331AQHKAFQArABIA%3D%3D#aoh=16237468094016&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&_tf=Von %1%24s&share=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bbc.com%2Fnews%2Fworld-asia-53521586 9 1

One for drugs use (cocaine) expires next year but one for reckless driving causing death can be prosecuted until 2027. Now in Thailand the deputy secretary of the NACC and spokesman Niwatchai Kasemmongkhol said that findings mentioned in an inquiry under former NACC member Wicha Mahakhun mentioned about ten police and prosecutors who hindered justice in the case. If "justice" was hindered by corrupt officials then all charges should not expire ever. 5
smi11ie Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 The Generals will probably get promoted to "Supreme Emporas" and the case will be dropped because "nobody know nothing". Boss will return after the warrent has expired and will be given a heroes welcome. 1
Dont confuse me Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 So the causing death by recess driving can only be prosecuted until 2027? I can see the headlines, "Yesterday the Red Bull Boss embarked on a round the world promotional trip" The trip which takes in most of the remote Pacific islands, Antarctica and any other country that does not have an extradition treaty with Thailand is expected to take about 6 years. Bon Voyage low life! 1
DaveE13 Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 The generals will probably end up as Senators. Seems normal place for the corrupt. Look at the PMs brother

sambum Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 23 minutes ago, klauskunkel said: If "justice" was hindered by corrupt officials then all charges should not expire ever. Correct - what is to prevent the "new" enquiry going on for the next 5 or 6 years by which time all charges will be dropped and he will go free to "roam" the streets again? Let's face it, this is just a PR exercise as it has been reported that the public have lost faith in the justice system. Similarly to the situations already mentioned where corrupt cops aren't sacked - merely moved to an "inactive post". 1
