You get a stamp for the 60 day extension from the day your current permit to stay ends.

They do this for covid extension?  How much do they ask?

Yes.

Best to contact agent.

You could check out Thaivisacenter if located in Bangkok.

Good option. Some agents pick up and drop off passport in the Bangkok area.

Also no under consideration stamp. All done in one hit.

Really?

They should call you when the approval has been given and you can collect the extension stamp. I made the mistake of turning up on the specified date for my first marriage extension and it wasn't ready. Check when you make the application that your office will do that.

And why would that be? Do they pay extra under the table money to get the result? Is that not illegal? Time to crack down on agents if you ask me.

Depends, but I do not agree. Agents cause a lot of problems for the rest of us honest people.

So waste time to go immigration, never knowing what's gonna happen with you and your visa, depending on the officers mood, take other documents go back, spend gas and more days = honest

Not moving a finger and get what you need 100% legally = not honest

OK

just like flying economy class= honest, business class = not honest.

No there is no point going before the date they have given you as it takes HQ all of that time to process your application and the 1900 bht covers the further visit as well

Agents pretty useless on marriage extensions-they deal with retirement extensions to cover the financial requirements

Same Under Consideration" stamp for me last week.  TV members let me know it was normal and not an issue.  This is my first covid ext. so assume approval is not a concern but if declined for whatever reason ( i.e., just changed my address and a records mismatch) I'm screwed.  I would then have a 16 day ( if resolved immediately - probably take a few days at least ) overstay which would cost 8,000 baht but my main concern would be future visa bans.  Looks like bans don't happen until 90 day overstays.

As for agents, money well spent IMO but not an option for many living outside big cities.
