Ill pick her up a little something and get her on the way home and all will be forgotten by then.

And then you are surprised if it happens again, and again...

Ok first let me say I love my Thai wife of 11 years. 95% of the time she’s great - loving, kind hearted and jealous as you know what. The other 5% of the time she’s just bat dung crazy.

I agree with the 95%. But when I read your story then I am happy that my one is just a little crazy from time to time. But then again, I always knew that she is different. ????

Anyone married to a Thai for any length of time knows what I’m talking about.

Definitely not my experience.

21 years with my loving Thai wife and we never even argue, why would we if we are best friends?

We disagree with each other occasionally but nothing that cannot be sorted out by discussing a solution.

She was a widow when I met her and I was divorced, so I guess that we leaned some important lessons from our previous marriages.

Not really.  Plenty of Thai ladies out there without mental problems.

Don’t worry. Nothing is in her name. All properties are in my Trust and she always signs a disclaimer deed waiving any rights. We don’t even have joint bank accounts.

Maybe that's the problem!

Ditto, 18 years too.

Of course we've had our differences (often just misunderstandings) when she goes into "silent mode" but it rarely lasts more than a few hours (she just can't keep quiet that long).

Love her to bits ????

Yeah for me making a relationship work there has to be respect and understanding and a close knowing of one another the OP's marriage seems to be lacking that, as I said I feel for her.

Never once experienced anything like that from my wife. Sounds like your wife desperately needs strong medication. She has a condition of some sort. Take her to a shrink, or divorce her. Life is way too short for this sort of nonsense. Cut your losses.

And if I had a wife like this, I would be hiding this abhorrent behavior, not sharing it with the world. Sorry for the lack of sympathy, but this is beyond the pale.

She obviously has deep seated anger issues from her past, and she is not mature enough to confront them or resolve them. That is not on you, unless you choose to lower yourself to her level.

@Datle @j.a.

Absolutely enthralling reading and thank you for verbalizing.

More sincere posts like yours convince us Venus and Mars are real.

Dale, I feel ur pain. Went to FSU, know PC well, awesome surf in the park in the winter. great clubbing, redneck girls. Anyway I have Brazilian gf going on 18 years. Bi-polar and takes getting used to. I can see in the morning her eyes tell me who's home. Lucky for me it's her 95% of the time. When I see those eyes I use those 50 ways to leave your lover. She knows and has been treated so we just deal with it. For better or worse actually works better without a contract ie; marriage. Love makes it worth it.

Been there, done that with Brazilian wife ! Definition of "bat crazy " !

By comparison Thai wife just gets a bit "excited" at very rare moments.

Thankfully, many years in, I've never experienced anything like that....(3 female house/2 daughters, teen & 21)....

No way I'd put up with it....From any of them ....

If there had been any inclination toward that behavior while dating, it would've been bye bye immediately....

Long story short, I left her there and go back to Khao Kalok with my dog, when she called me and reminded me we have a 9 PM curfew. So returned to her parents' house and eventually we talked it out and, well, you can figure out the rest.

Let me guess, you had to apologize and promise her you will never do it again (whatever it was in her mind). And then, maybe after a nice present, she will forgive you. But obviously she will keep your bad behavior in mind and will mention it often in the future.

One explanation which I heard for such behavior that some Thai women are bored with their life. And they think it's a good idea to spice it up. And after watching years of Thai soap operas they obviously know exactly how to make life "more interesting". And often they know their sponsor good enough to be able to predict his behavior and make a real drama out of it.

I would love to read a Thai female forum with articles like: Listen girls, I really gave him s@$@ today ..... . At the end he gave me another ring and apologized. What an idiot. Let me think about what I will do next. That will be fun.

That's not a marriage that's a sad arrangement, I feel sorry for her.

I feel sorry for the dudes and plenty of them who turn everything over to the little educated & logical ones to begin with. First time they get into some cat they turn it all over after a few more times. lol

'One track mind' is what I think of. I couldn't muster sitting and watching those shows but from what I gather is they always seem to have a plot of the husband cheating on his wife. Haha. There also are a few Thai women on YT who have this sort of attitude. But hey who can blame em.

Anyway, wise, experienced, and good post.

Correct, and some do their best to keep it that way.

By the same logic, the mumps can be dangerous.

The OP does not say whether himself or his wife have mumps, so ..... U never know.

I don't believe I've ever had sex with a woman that didn't clearly have mental problems. Sometimes they waited until after the sex to display their mental issues, sometimes they were clear from the start.

But what I did learn was never to play their game.

If a woman in Thailand had behaved like the OP describes, I would have just carried on to the beach resort and found another women to put in my bed for the week. Probably not as easy to do that in the USA though.

Once upon a time there was guy who asked a girl to marry him, and she said No.

He spent the rest of his life single. He worked monday to friday, and sometimes he went for a drink with his friends and came home when he felt like it and often slept on the couch. He sat up late at night watching his favourite movies.

He always had a bit of spare money in the bank and drove a nice car. He went on holiday to places he really wanted to go to and had some interesting holiday romances. Basically he lived happily ever after.

They were with you so of course

Classy women dont go with 2/10s

Could she have planned this ?

Maybe it was her intention to have a few days alone in a city where her friend lives .

Was it her who initially suggested moving to San Antonio ?

It's like living with a Leopard - you just don't know if something is going to trigger a reversion to wild behaviour.

One of the reasons so many women are good at archeology, they are so good at digging up the past.
