North Korea Covertly Arming Russia

 

In the latest example of the circuitous efforts Russia’s allies are making to arm its war on Ukraine, North Korea has been covertly shipping Moscow a “significant number” of artillery shells, the White House alleged Wednesday.

 

National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said the U.S. believes North Korea is “trying to make it appear as though they’re being sent to countries in the Middle East or North Africa,” according to The Associated Press.

 

Kirby declined to provide a specific estimate on the quantity of ammunition being sent to bolster the Russian effort.

Truss said the duty was an "important duty of the prime minister", and received a round of applause after saying she would have no problem ordering the use of the UK's nuclear arsenal if necessary.

What wasn't asked was would she be the first to use nuclear weapons. And that's the key issue. It's been the policy of all the nations, apart from North Korea, that hold nuclear weapons, to rule out first strike attacks. Russia seems to be changing its tune.

The reporter asked him directly if you have evidence of the attack why have you not posted it for the world to see to which the Ambassador quickly dodged the question and instead he told the reporter Putin is looking for a way out of Ukraine.

According to other Sky News the Russian ambassador said that the evidence about the involvement of British special forces was handed over to the British ambassador and military attache in Moscow. And that the evidence will be made public soon.

Nuclear watchdog finds no sign of 'dirty bomb'

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said on Thursday that inspectors had unfettered access and found no indication of undeclared nuclear activity and materials at three sites in Ukraine.

IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi said in a statement that inspectors "completed their in-field verification activities at three locations in Ukraine at the request of the of the government of Ukraine."

The request to send teams of UN inspectors was issued after Russia made allegations that Kyiv was planning to deploy a so-called "dirty bomb" containing radioactive material.
