Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital

Featured Replies

Reading in a foreign newspaper Aleksandr Khodakovsky, a Russian

commander has said that since last May 60% of the russian soldiers

killed in the Ukraine have been killed by "friendly fire"

Bad chain of command and lack of communication was listed as the main

culprit.

So not only is the russian army the biggest supplier of free weapons for the Ukraine they also are killing the most Russian soldiers!!!

Insane! All because of one little evil man.

Maybe you should read up on the history of your beloved Russia (or Soviet Union) a bit.

This may not be the right thread to post this, but it gives a clear picture of Russia’s MO and how they (try to) meddle and interfere in the internal affairs of other countries:

Russia’s Prigozhin admits interfering in U.S. elections.

“We have interfered in US elections, we are interfering and we will continue to interfere”.

They have obviously been interfering in Ukraine’s internal affairs for a long time already.

the Russians are more comfortable admitting killing their own than admitting they were killed by Ukrainian forces.

compare with the careless smokers that caused the sinking of the Moskva and the explosions at the Crimean airbase.

No one is interested in an Ex Pm and what happened 20 yrs ago it's about today in Ukraine.

More cannon fodder, better to stay in Russia and revolt

‘We were completely exposed’: Russian conscripts say hundreds killed in attack

“I saw men being ripped apart in front of me, most of our unit is gone, destroyed. It was hell,” he said, adding that his unit’s commanders abandoned them just before the shelling started.

“We were completely exposed, we had no idea what to do. Hundreds of us died,” said the second soldier, who asked to remain anonymous. “Two weeks of training doesn’t prepare you for this,” he said, referring to the limited military training conscripts received prior to being sent to Ukraine.

I was just going to post exactly the same video. It looks like more and more soldiers/conscripts are becoming more and more unhappy with how their ‘superiors’ are running things. But I was quite amazed to see how they openly confronted a general. Hope there’s much more of this to come.

It's not just conscripts calling for regime change.  Russian enemies of Putin are plotting his demise as well.  I do wonder what sort of danger they've put themselves in with this sort of talk.  Putin's assassins are going to be busy.

[Russian Enemies of Kremlin Meet to Plot Violent ‘Elimination’ of Putin]

[Anti-Russia activists and former Russian lawmakers opposed to Russian President Vladimir Putin have been gathering in Poland in recent days to discuss what removing Putin from power would look like nearly nine months into his war in Ukraine.]

[Some of the scenarios the anti-Russia group discussed include Russians staging a civil war, taking up arms, and killing Putin, according to Euractiv.]

[A guerrilla fight may be the only way to take down Putin, said opposition activist Viacheslav Maltsev. “The main goal is to physically eliminate Putin,” Maltsev said.]

I don’t watch Russian TV, but I’m curious: do they have this kind of thing every night on TV there? I mean with the host and the three or four guests, discussing the war and launching all kinds of crazy ideas and conspiracy theories?

More info about the three Russian linea

More than 400 Russian reservists died after their commanders ran away during a Ukrainian artillery bombardment, Russian soldier says.

“I saw men being ripped apart in front of me, most of our unit is gone, destroyed. It was hell,” said Aleksei Agofonov. “When it all started, the officers immediately ran away.”

I think he's more afraid that there will be a coup in his absence.

Putin has more to worry than a slap in the face. Sky News and BBC news are reporting that Russian troops have left the city of Kherson and more or less handed it back to Ukrainian forces. All those killed taking Kherson and as of yesterday preparing to fight street to street to hold it, Well guess they didn't have the stomach for a proper fight. How's he going to explain this defeat to the Russian People who watched there Son's return in body bags.
