I think the Russian helicopters will  will be swooping over Ukrainians capital again in the near future..if not helicopters then drones and missiles..maybe even a tactical nuke.

Nothing could be further from the truth..I am the person advocating an end to the war...a peace deal...you want the war to continue...there are no need for links as it is my opinion that a peace deal is the better solution...rather than a nuclear war...wouldn't you agree ?

Putin doesn't want a peace deal. He wants genocide. He wants to make Ukraine a Russ slave state, erase Ukrainian culture, erase Ukrainian language, erase Ukrainian church, and erase Ukrainian people who still resist. You and people like you really don't get it. Give up to Russia and you think he stops. That is insane. Ukraine as a slave state and the remaining Ukrainians as Russ slaves positions him for further incursions west -- Moldova, the Baltics, even Poland. A winning Russia now a total war state also has ambitions to the east in the Stans. Of course the timing of all this is unknown but I can't see a winning Russia not going for Odessa ASAP basically castrating Ukraine. The way to stop Putin, etc. -- both military victory mixed with eventual disintegration of the Russian economy. Yes this could take ten years. SO WHAT?

If the west can prevail, it's going to cost much much less in so many ways than caving to Russia (when China is watching closely).

Nobody wants this war......only Putin. A peace deal is possible if Russia pulls back to the borders prior to taking Crimea and pay recompense for all the death and destruction the Russians have inflicted on Ukraine!

Which he will never do.

Putin needs to be defeated but that defeat if it does hopefully happen doesn't need to only be about battle wins but also conditions and events within Russia.

Not going to happen...why would the side that is winning give up all it has gained at quite a large expense ?

 

No it is Russia that will  set the terms for Ukraine's surrender not the other way round.
