You get a PCR test done , you then collect the results .

Then  you take the results to the airport and give them to the check in staff

Its quite straight forward

OMG

What , I do a web search and then post a link ?

He can do a web search himself and find the same link to save me doing it for him

I'm also looking for this in Pattaya and have not had any luck web searching.

I only need ATK certificate so Im currently planning to stay in Bangkok on my last night before flight as "Medconsult" was recommended in the Bangkok forum. It looks pretty good at 500 Baht formal ATK (15 minute result) and 1500 baht PCR (12-48 hours result)

How hard is it to google "pcr test pattaya"?

thanks for posting, the first link looks good 1500 THB, but it's in Bangkok.

Second link ... 3800 THB for the test ???

That's why I ask for recommendations ... a google search just brings up irrelevant hits from Bangkok or other places.

I guess some places don't put information online, that's why I ask for recommendations.

the other question is, in case the destination country does not require a test, if THAI AIRWAYS requires a test and what type of test.

People are asking for personal experience and not google search with 1000 results.

Usually, the ones on the top of the search are costly.

now that is interesting information, do you have a link?

i was unable to find information on that, and Thai Aiways hotline doesn't pick up

also, their Line account seems to have been deleted

and what about a fit to fly certificate?

if your destination country doesnt require (and i you dont fly through singa) you need only vax certificate, no tests. That was pretty much situation for very long.

check any restrictions here. The most up to dated site

If it fit's with the timing for the flight.

I had been there in Jan and saw a couple handing their German passports. Obviously for flying.

Anyone flying back to the UK all restrictions have been scrapped starting 18th March............vaxed and unvaxed

Checked on KLM websites and that confirms you can just board the plane

Only need Thailand to follow suit now

https://www.gov.uk/government/news/all-covid-19-travel-restrictions-removed-in-the-uk

From 4am Friday 18 March, all COVID-19 travel restrictions will be lifted, including the passenger locator form (PLF) for arrivals into UK, as well as all tests for passengers who do not qualify as vaccinated. This change, therefore, removes the need for unvaccinated passengers to take a pre-departure test and a day 2 post arrival test.

You can book an appointment at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital for 3,800 Bahts, Memorial Hospital in Pattaya for 3,500 Bahts or  Chayan Medical clinic in Jomtien, Address: 481/10-11, Thappraya Road, The Hanuman Statue Jomtien, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi 20260, Phone: 038 303 762 for 2,800 Bahts.

So it's cheaper to go to Bangkok and stay a night in 2000 baht hotel and then pay 1500 baht PCR with result given within 12 hours.

Plus you get to experience a night in Bangkok ????

As you planning stay anyway in Bangkok this hotel connected by underground 5 minutes walk to airport has pcr atk test as option Novotel Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport - The Hotel (novotelairportbkk.com)

24 hours checkin (checking at any time for 24 hours no matter the time )

Well it can be difficult if flying to the US which requires a RT PCR test done within 24 hours of your flight so if you have a 6 am flight your going to have to go to Chonburi to get the test that will give you results within 4 hours and a bit pricey. What can you do.

The US only requires an antigen test within the 24-hour time period.  Much less expensive and results often available within an hour or less.

Must be infuriating for the people who went back to the U,K a few months ago and had to pay 2500 Pounds to stay in hotel quarantine for ten days

Is that a PCR and ATK with certificate and done quickly for flight as it just looks like a normal test?

I had a PCR test at Jomtien Hospital a few days ago and the results were presented within 8 hours or so.   The Rapid Test is most likely an antigen test and I assume would have very quick results.  I am not personally familiar with anywhere that does Rapid PCR test in Thailand but did have a PCR test done at the airport in USA for $250. Took about 30 minutes.  Jomtien Hospital is affiliated with Bangkok Pattaya Hospital and is on Sukhumvit Road a few km further down the road from B-P Hospital, near intersection with Pattaya Tai (South Pattaya Raod).

Go to Facebook Pattaya group and ask. You will immediately get at least 10 answers. Almost every week I see the same question in Pattaya group.
