Pattaya — Pattaya police reportedly aided a Thai beachgoer who suffered from alleged health issues and a panic attack after smoking a rolled-up joint on the beach.

The incident happened in the Pattaya Beach area not far from the Pattaya Police Station on July 3rd. The officers received a report from tourists at 00.10 AM that a Thai beachgoer was suffering from what he thought was breathing issues, vision problems, anxiety, dizziness, and tightness in his chest.

Pattaya police and rescuers from Sawang Boriboon Rescue Foundation found a 29-year-old male, Seksan (last name withheld), on the beach and treated his suffering.

A ganja panic attack. I've had one. Just one.

I was in my 30s in a bad emotional space anyways. It's also possible the strain of weed induced my freak out.

I had a few unpleasant hours, then sobered up.

No police or ambulance required.

There are downsides to everything, even eating too much chocolate.

Every other experience, usually incorporating sexy times, has been sublime!

Shame on the media for making this "news".

Get over it!

The green is here to stay.

What a useless human.........snowflakes.

Here's a few quotes he will be repeating to himself.

- I am a failure.

- I am so boring.

- Nothing I do works out.

- I can’t do anything right.

- What a screw-up I am.

Sadly, now we will see more unwanted joint-smoking negative news.

For God's sake, Man up dude.

Stay away from pot and you won’t have a problem. I have never been able to handle that stuff when smoked. Edibles are much preferable. I sleep like a baby. ????

Why not make this situation public?  It may help others that now think just cause weed is legal now, it's entirely harmless.

actually edibles are a bigger worry than smoking...idiots can eat 50 edibles and OD and die or go berserk when it all hits at one time....but it is nearly impossible to die from smoking pot as u will go to sleep before u can smoke enough to kill you.....and of course i suspect some dealers will lace the pot with all kinds of other <deleted> and chemicals to increase profits etc ...grow your own and control what u smoke

1st - no one eats 50 edibles - did you not read what you wrote. i've been high for 30 years and i have never once seen a person eat that many edibles at one time. nor have i ever heard of any such event happening.

2nd - od and die - easy cowboy no one has ever died as a result of OD from cannabis.

3rd - the good old people lacing weed bit. again stop it with this utter garbage.

please educate yourself on the subject before you spout such wild false claims. i am more than happy to help you out.

It's not rocket science, if you can't handle it, Petals, Just Say NO! ????

Why wasn't he arrested for smoking on the beach?.....

Imagine if they reported on everyone who drank alcohol and could'nt handle it!

I can't.

I can't handle these stories........Hey let's legalize weed.   What's weed, should we google it?  No.  OK

Your edibles will probably be CBD only.

Edible THC can catch even the seasoned pothead in a 'took too much' event.

With Thai stick being regarded as strong in the past and these new strains even stronger, no surprise if a newbie has this effect...it's the onset vs alcohol's slower onset that can catch people in his panic event.

Young stupid people with little or no pot experience do indeed overdose on edibles just like young stupid people overdose on guzzling booze.  And yes pot dealers have been known to lace <deleted> pot with cheap speed etc to be able to sell more .  The problem with edibles improperly used  is that anti pot crowd will point to edible od problems to try and claim that pot is oh so dangerous and all pot should be banned.

You might want to educate YOURSELF a bit with google ...and ps being stoned for 30 years does not impress me..  you are not the only person who has smoked pot you know?

no but my qualifications and knowledge on the subject should. if you are not prideful and close minded that is.

this is incorrect. thai sativa landrace will top out at around max 18 percent thc. terpene levels are not impressive at all either.

the old thai stick myth is just that....myth.

its all people knew of during that time so of course it was the bees knees.
