actually yes, he is Turkish and he is great with drones. He was working at Bayraktar factory before. But i also dont think Turks have big nose.. i think normal

OK, here we go. It doesn't matter if Turks have big noses, it matters what Germans think. And most Germans think that Turks have big noses and therefore don't respect them as equal.

I'm German btw, and I fought Germans for their hypocrisy all my life long.

I think it's great that the OP has posted a simple question, and everyone has used that as an opportunity to Virtue Signal by abusing their imaginary racists, without actually constructively considering the question, nor discussing what constitutes racism.

Until we understand our own prejudices, we cannot condemn prejudice.  We can only complain about it.

SC

I see more hatred amongst westerners towards other westerners.

Look at some of the comments here. Such anger.

Tropes and clichés used by racists …..

1.     Playing "the race card"

2.     Dismissing an individual who brings up race / culture in a discussion

3.     use of the concept of “other” (we/them syndrome)

4.     Stereotyping of an entire nationality.

5.     “I married one, so I can’t be racist, can I?”

6.     Logical Fallacies: false authority- the use of “expert” – i.e. concentration on the messenger rather than the message.

7.     No true Scotsman – the arguer is wrong as they don’t represent the argument e.g. You don’t live there or in Thailand.

8.     Conviction that personally they have superior abilities to the people they are criticising

9.     Over-use of the 3rd person plural pronouns and adjectives, (e.g. - them, they, their)

10.  “They” come over here….

11.  Sweeping subjective generalisations about nationality, creed, colour

12.  It’s a religion, so that’s not racist, is it?

13.  Incorrect use of the word "culture" - It’s in their “culture”

14.  Failure to distinguish between prejudice, assumption or opinion and "fact"

15.  Spend a lot of time arguing something is not racist.

16.  “Some of my best friends are…..”

17.  “I’ve got nothing against them, but……..”

18.  “They come over here…”

19.  “Did you hear the one about?…….”

20.  “coloureds”

21.  “racialist” (as opposed to “racist”)

22.  “It’s PC gone mad!”

23.  Using “woke” as a derogatory term.

24.  “(They’re a)Dysfunctional race”

25.  “Some of them are racist too!”

26.  Racism is “natural”

27.  "ALL lives matter"

28.  “They’re great (any hobby or activity). . But they can’t (any hobby or activity)….”

29.  “A lot of minorities are too sensitive,”

30.  Microaggressions, in the everyday exchanges = “Everyone can succeed in this society, if they work hard enough.”

If you can tick any of these, you are probably racist.

Buddhism is a race?

Is atheism a race?

They come over here. They work hard. They raise nice children who are productive. They are great neighbors.
These are things mentioned everyday by white guys in their 50's and 60's  in many countries.  Your list is quite dramatic and incorrect.

hi. thats also another reason why i started this. And yours is one of them. Actually they were talking about how people take seriously their jobs when doing something and then somehow he took the topic to nationality. Such as this country people do work like this, that country like this, blah blah.. And then it came to his nose and where he is from. Btw his nose is fine, nothing special. So, the topic was serious. And im pretty sure he knew what he was talking about.

another problem with him is, he is all over the thai female personnel. He is flirting with everything he thinks is female. im serious. And we are working for the Royal Thai Airforce, everyone here is ranked people.

I will give him a verbal warning tomorrow. If this still goes on written. And then i have to think about his employment.

thanks

He said someone has a big nose and he flirts a lot. Oh no! Have you not ever heard how the average Thai talks about other people, races? Would you be pulling them up for similar? How about how Thais talk about "country" people. This all seems much ado about nothing. Maybe your the problem farang. See what I did there.

Yes, life is getting narrow for them, and everybody wants to be successful at the expense of others.

Was the german sitting in his slippers and socks to his knees?

Yes, pure German attitudes.

I know them very well: first me, then me again and again.
They think they own the world.
Can't stand them.

I don't think you mentioned it already, how old is this German? For me it sounds like two options: Young and unexperienced or old with a bad attitude.

In younger years when staying in youth hostels and similar there would be guys running around the halls in Speedos.  Those were the Germans.

Yes that's how you should address someone's improper use of stereotypes by bombarding them with stereotypes.

Thnx for the comment.

Tbh i do agree some part of your comment.

Although i dont care about other thais but i care about the working place and the environment where i am in charge. And i think these kind of actions should be happening in a pro working place.. i wouldnt mind to warn a thai doing the same things ( and i did in the past, different situation).

If you are in a work place, you are. Thats it.

If you are in a workplace you are in a team, and you should behave accordingly. Which the German in question obviously didn't. So he's not a good team player, and that might become a problem for the whole workplace.

Happens all the time. Western thing. Being offended on behalf of someone else.

Instead of "toughen up" everyone is a victim.   White women are the worst at being offended for others.

there is a comic that does a skit where he goes into coffee shop everyday and cracks jokes with the barristas (he's white, they are black).  The barristas LOVE it.  They are sharing him and introducing him to friends enjoying good company.  White women comes from behind and is appalled and threatening him and the store for his racist offenssive jokes.

Barristas kicked her out I believe lol

?

Why do you think they don't respect them as equal only because they have a bigger nose?

I.e. I am "white" and I know black guys. Are they equal? No. They are black and I am white.

I still respect them, and they can be equally competent and intelligent and nice.

But they are not equal, they have a different skin color.

Not really sure what point you are trying to make here but you certainly shouldn't be using the word 'equal' with that statement.

If you are trying to say they look different to you then the sentance should read 'But they don't look the same, they have a different skin color.'

The word 'equal' means being the same in quantity, size, degree, or value so your statement reads 'But they are not the same in quantity, size, degree, or value, they have a different skin color'

Which is racist.

If the "victim" had been Scandinavian and the comment had been in regard to blonde hair or yodelling nobody, you included, would have raised an eyebrow, likewise if the "victim " had been English and the comment had been about poor foreign language skills, warm beer, footbal hooliganism, cr@p food or drunken behaviour whilst on holiday again nothing would be said, you included.

One of the fundamental principles of "Woke-ism  is that certain nationalities and minorities are considered fair game, and can or perhaps should, have as much vitriol and hate directed at them as possible and with impunity ,  whilst others are protected, and eggshells need to be walked on when considering making any comments  either negative or indeed positive regarding them. The comments on this thread about  Germans,..... Nazi's ,  no sense of humour,  towels on sunbeds, socks and sandals  etc etc are proof of this. Negative comments regarding white people, cannabis users and people who pay for sex, for example,  are also tolerated, even encouraged with nobody taking offence on behalf of these as yet unfashionable "victims"

It is actually rather amusing watching the wokies on the BBC almost squirming with discomfort when they have to report about the Asian grooming gangs in the UK , a subject that was covered up for years by "Woke" social workers for fear of offending racial sensitivities, at the expense of the welfare of vulnerable white underage girls

Reports of female genital mutilation are always discussed "awkwardly" and kept to a minimum for the same reason  The fact that it is carried out by women being another unfortunate truth. Yet a white hetro prime minister gets accused of attending a party and the Woke media frenzy is deafening , Headline news every day, for months on end

Your comments regarding his "inappropriate" behaviour towards females is also somewhat curious, there is no reason for you to get "triggered" unless you received complaints from any of these women, which you obviously didn't ,as you would have mentioned the fact.. Flirting between the sexes is a normal part of human behaviour, even at work , and generally enjoyed by both parties involved, most men know where to draw the line , and most women have no problem in dealing with the ones that don't, its almost sexist to say otherwise. Abuse of power in these situations  involving persistent unwelcome sexual  attention from a superior is obviously another matter. But a bit if flirting , get over your self, and its none of your business whether he's married or not

You need to also bear in mind that more relationships are formed between people who met at work than in any other situation, do you personally wish to put an end to this?   why?

Likewise If the guy with the big nose had complained to you himself, officially, then maybe some action was warranted , perhaps a quiet word would have sufficed in the first instance, however "big nose" did not complain did he? in fact it appears he didn't want any action to be taken  Yet fuelled by the righteous indignation of a few on here. you saw fit to steam in with an official reprimand, was this an example of an appropriate response,?  I don't think so, Was it another attempt at raising your woke profile ?  definitely

your final question "what do you guy's think ?

I actually think the whole story is made up, for the sole purpose of giving you an opportunity to virtue signal to the woke warriors and to hopefully get a you a pat on the back. The underlying message is also that you don't think having a big nose is a positive attribute and illogically refuse to accept that it is a common feature for some races, With out doubt you are taking offence on behalf of others , possibly as a way of excising your own feelings of guilt..Not unlike the people who bang on the back of police vans taking pedophiles to court.

sorry, i dont agree with you in many parts
