Oversight Committee reaches agreement to obtain Trump financial records

The House Oversight and Reform Committee on Thursday reached an agreement to obtain former President Trump’s financial records, Chairwoman Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.) announced.

The agreement would end a years-long legal battle to obtain Trump’s financial records and require his accounting firm Mazars USA to turn the documents over to the committee.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to find an answer to "when?"  If anyone finds out please post a link.  No reason to assume it will be before 2032.

Keep an eye on ebay and craigs list....trump may be dumb enough to list top secret docs for sale to highest bidder there.

Maybe this has something to do with the wife's NFT business.

I like that they gave him back the passport, perhaps it was a subtle way of saying "don't let us keep you here."

I agree. The simplest explanation and the only one that makes sense is that he is just that stupid. I have difficulty accepting that he has a cogent, thought out plan for those documents, other then stashing evidence that may be used against him.

I see him like someone who steals a major art work and keeps it in his home so he can look at it, and gloat over it, whenever he wants.  Though, in Trump's case, I suspect he wouldn't even need to look at it, just the thought of it being there would be enough.

All well and good that DOJ has a slam dunk case of obstruction....but let's not forget the bigger crime of fomenting a coup and all the many crimes committed in a clown show attempt to overthrow the will of the American voters via a violent insurrection after all of their other lame attempts had failed.  Treason?

"Mr. Trump devoured intelligence briefings about his foreign counterparts before and after calls with them. He was eager to deepen his relationships with autocrats like Kim Jong-un of North Korea or Xi Jinping of China and to get leverage over allies he took a personal dislike to, such as Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany, President Emmanuel Macron of France and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada," The Times reported.

Trump had reportedly bragged to friends he "knew illicit details" about Macron's sex life.

Where are the missing documents....this is a disaster of epic proportions, whatever they were on as far as classified material goes means lives are possibly now in danger....

In the meantime how about a Michigan voting machine?

https://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2022/09/02/michigan-voting-machine-sold-ebay/2361662130905/

Is there a way to find eBay listings of items that had been sold?

Off-topic, and misleading.  From your source:

"Officials said the piece of equipment, a voter assist terminal that helps people with disabilities cast their ballot on the actual voting machine, came from Wexford County in northwestern Michigan."

"Voter assist terminals are not used to tabulate ballots but are typically used by voters with disabilities who need assistance marking their ballot privately at polling places."
