Don't you know, they have to prove the crime was committed?

I never even suggested that proof had been judged, I pointed out the fact, uncomfortable to your like of argument, that an indictment has been issued.

We’ll get to the proof bit at trial.

I predict you won’t accept the trial either.

Can you be specific. Which "more serious stuff" are you referring to? Colluding with Russia to cheat in an election? Encouraging his supporters to duff up and pour bleach on a poor black actor out for

The way I see it Democracy is already over in the States! neither side likes the other. maybe it's only a matter of time before there is civil unrest. America's best day's are behind it. The future looks bleak.

This is what happens when the laws of the land, in this case the U.S. Constitution, is intentionally disregarded.  There are no checks and balances anymore as all three branches of government violate their own rules.  The civil unrest you talk about will most likely move on to race wars and armed insurrection.

The democracts aren't making noises about civil unrest.

Here’s a thing.

Will Trump again call for protests?

What if he does and turnout is a lack luster as the crowd at Waco.

Trump gave us multiple examples of breaking the constitutional separation of powers

Biden has done no such thing.

I'm quite sure there are many that will disagree about Biden doing no such thing.

Really? You pine for 6.8% unemployment (vs Biden's current 54 year low of 3.4%), a Recession (which trump left Biden, who has the economy growing again), and massive debt (trump presided over a staggering $7,800,000,000,000 addition in just 4 years, vs the total $19.3 trillion he inherited from the first 44 POTUSs over 240 years). That debt trump added is equivalent to $24,000 for every man, woman, and child in the US, or about $1,000 for every human on the face of the Earth. THAT is why the world has inflation today.

Predict all you like, I'm not American thank g-d. It just amazes me just how broken US politics is, But then that seems the norm for western countries with the lack of real Politicians in Europe as well. All I see is both sides accusing the other of wrong doing, while thinking their side is right. Trump may be an odious person, but Biden is just as odious. America need to elect serious people to lead their country. Not a senile or egotistic person. Suffice to say the world looks on in amazement at the mess that is America today.

Do you think this is why Biden wants to run again? After all he spends most of his time sitting and he is the current President.

Yet, isn't this the reason Trump wants to run again?

That is plainly wrong. If you were right, then why the mess in Dem run states?

Innuendo is a wonderful thing when you don't need to back it up. At least give us mere mortals a hint.

It's death by a thousand cuts once the indictments pile up.

Not only is it expensive and time-consuming, but everything that you say or that comes out in trial #1 can be used in subsequent trials. And on and on.

And if there's a poster child for not being able to keep his story straight........

Generally speaking, multiple trials means multiple new charges. Politico has good long read comparing Trump's dilemma with noted pedo, R Kelly who's indictment history is light compared to what Trump is on the hook for. R Kelly is jail for the next 25 years.

It didn't stop the Dems from trying to hang something on Trump. But so far a total failure on their part. All they have succeeded in doing to dividing America, where hate for each other will boil over into something nasty!

Trump got elected by dividing America. He can out with a racist slur in his first speech. He never had a coherent policy which wasn't based around enriching himself and his only message was one of racism. Trump stands for racists and nobody else.

I recently have felt he is apt to quit this Summer

He has stated his stance firmly at CPAC that he will stay in the race even if indicted. He is like Macbeth consumed with a narcissistic belief that his base will carry him over in the primary. The favourable polls are giving him confidence that he can prevailed. The indictments breathes life into his grievance driven election run. He will not quit unless the polls dump on him and his sycophants turned on him which is highly unlikely. He may even go scrorched earth to his party if everything goes against him. Bottomline is that he will not likely to quit the race.

Yes that's what a grand jury does, they collect evidence to prove that a crime or crimes have been committed, then if they can prove it has occurred they indict and the AG prosecutes the case, at which time the jury will decide. The grand jurors as well as the jury are not all democrats as you believe. You have been drinking the kool-aid Trump is serving...

I have to beg to differ here. At a personal level, I had an option of taking 2 years of American history at a public high school in the 60's but chose ancient history instead. There many academics as well as people in all fields of life who are well studied and well traveled withing America. Probably more so that the average American. I fact, I'd say that American politics on the right especially, a demographic openly hostile toward academic institutions and in education in general, especially when it comes to race relations, exposes a particular and widespread ignorance of American affairs and policies. And when it comes to knowledge of American foreign policy, well that's a hands down winner for non Americans TBH. Bottom line, plenty of non Americans know plenty about America.

Slight correction,

.

Grand Juries review evidence and testimony presented by prosecutors to determine if there is probable cause to believe a crime has been committed, within the jurisdiction, and were probable cause does exist issue an indictment(s).

Maybe that is exactly just the opposite. Thanks to Biden stepping up to Putin. Maybe the two sides start to work together. Maybe the guilty in time gets their due. I think my country is the best in the world. Today is a celibration day!
