Bangkok — Bangkok Police busted three alleged sex toy sellers and seized from them one million baht worth of sex toys last Friday, May 12th.

The three suspects, identified only as Mr. Tanayong, 29, Ms. Kanree, 27, and Ms. Ilda ,32, were arrested at their residence at the Foresta Village in Bangkok’s Nong Chok district on Friday. Their surnames were withheld by police pending legal process.

According to police reports, police seized 1,066 pieces of various types of sex toys worth over 1 million baht at the suspects’ residence. The arrested allegedly operated an online sex-toy shop and sold the obscene items through various agents via unreported online platforms. In return, the agents would receive a 50% commission for their sales.

Did they buy those toys for one million baht?

Or did they try to sell them at that price and bought them for maybe 10% of that?

Time Thailand got a life... Obscene they say?

Take a walk down any resort beach or city road and see what's obscene.

This is NOT an accomplishment. This is a surly, prurient, ridiculous, utterly dumb waste of "law enforcement". Such fake purity. Such inane misplacement of priorities. We are keeping you safe, by keeping these toys off the street! The RTP. Embarrassing the nation daily.

Same question arises every time that a once a year 'crackdown' in one place occurs and fake designer goods are seized. They like to claim/imagine that everyone who bought a fake whatever for 5000 baht did so instead of spending 50,000 on the real thing. Bull**** In reality, the companies that produce the genuine article lost nothing at all.

Why?

it's a job reserved for Thai women.

Lucky I am reasonably sized in the trouser dept., and I am still quite virile, so I am not threatened by these toys as Thai men seem to be. ????‍♂️

you mean buzzy lol

why wasted time and energy or was it a danger to society.... RTP priorities have puzzled me for quite sometime, maybe they were not of the take thus easy to confiscate to later resell at full profit

Move Forward Party – which is likely to form the next government – said in their campaign that they would allow sex-toys. So the police better better take good care of them, perhaps they will have to be returned...:whistling:

Until such time as someone OD's on a sex toy, the police should focus on drug interdiction.

Of course with daily busts of millions of pills of meth, and ketamine, maybe they need some time to relax with the toys?

And not only tools for women.

No details here, would be obscene.

Well that is a relief.

I am looking for a new butt plug.

Hurts like buggery.

The real crime is obviously the online sale, since the sale of sex toys on Lower Suk's sidewalk is ongoing since decades.

Let's put this huge 'bust' into perspective. I've done the calculations and calling BS on ฿1M worth but here you go, anyway.
