BANGKOK, June 7 (TNA) – Ex-prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra is preparing for his return to Thailand in July but the exact date will depend on the situation and suitability, said his daughter Paetongtarn Shinawatra.

Paetongtarn, Pheu Thai prime minister candidate said she did not know what agencies he contacted and cooperated to prepare for the return but the preparation was in progress. The family has initially planned to faciliate him and to provide him safety.

Talking, talking, and more talking. He can just take any plane back to Thailand. He doesn't need a visa. He doesn't even have to think about a hotel booking or enough money to buy food.

Either MFP are smoking the best bud on Sukhumvit, or they know something the rest of us don't.

I would be happy if half their plans come true.

He can just take any plane back to Thailand. He doesn't need a visa.

He doesn't even have to think about a hotel booking or enough money to buy food.

All will be provided to him, for free, for years.

Come on, come back, we are waiting for you.

Actually, I believe the residue of pink is still in order.

No one peeks behind the curtain to know the colour-of-the-day.

I just saw these stories together on the right side.

Should they send another cage to Dubai?

I expect that a deal has been made:  PT will join Palang Pacherat, BJ, and the Dems to form a coalition in exchange for a pardon for Thaksi

The establishment fear MF far more than Thaksin who is both conservative at heart and neutered by his conditions of return.

With the noose around his head of release providing he's a good boy, we can expect to see PT leave MF after Pita is conveniently banned or fails to be elected as PM due to the senators.

Thaksin Advised To Put Off Return Home Till New Govt Set Up
By Thai Newsroom Reporters

image.jpeg

MEMBERS OF DE FACTO PHEU THAI boss Thaksin Shinawatra’s family would prefer he postpone his long-awaited homecoming from next month until after a post-election government has been completely put in place, said a source personally associated with his camp.

Thaksin’s former spouse Podjaman na Pombejra and their daughters, Pintongta Kunakornwong and Paetongtarn Shinawatra, lunched together at a Bangkok hotel during which they discussed his planned return after 17 years in self-exile abroad and mutually agreed to the extent that he put off his homecoming trip which he had earlier scheduled for next month, said the source who only spoke on condition of anonymity.

The Shinawatra family members were considerably worried over possibility that Thaksin might be “fooled around again” by others only if he came back as soon as next month and would strongly prefer he wait until after the setting up of the Move Forward-led government consisting of eight coalition partners has been completed, the source said but stopped short of saying what he might possibly be deceived about and by who.

Speaking of REPATRIATION ........

How about we get "LittleBoss" from the Red Bull family  back to Thailand

to answer for his MURDERING a policeman

by running over him at high speed in his luxury sports car in the middle of the night in downtown Bangkok .

............ or have we all just given up and forgotten about that case ?

He was never charged with murder so there is no case to answer to.

We know he no longer has a Thai passport so I wonder which embassy granted him a visa. But back to reality the only way this will happen is if some sort of amnesty has been agreed which I strongly doubt. He had no reason to be here other than to stir things up.

Hmmm…. I’m not holding my breath….

As a Thai, he doesn't need a passport or a visa to enter Thailand.

Surely he will be arrested on entry at the airport and confined to a police cell as he's a flight risk?

Family do not need to provide safety.

Really? Thailand is different from the rest of the world?

May I cordially suggest you try entering your native country without a passport.

I would be interested in the outcome.

Do you think they'll let him stroll back into the country and go straight back to his Bangkok palace and walk around freely?

I suspect he'll have acquired his own private army of security/bodyguards.

Best wishes to the authorities in their attempts to physically restrain the old guy.

OMG I fear for you, if he manages to get back and not be jailed on the spot under a new government. Have you checked your coronaries lately?

Maybe the Red Bull heir will follow his footsteps.
