Ah ... but it might be a cup of water in a glass ????

1 Cup is equal to 8 fluid ounces in US Standard Volume. 1 metric cup is 250 milliliters (which is about 8.5 fluid ounces). A US cup is about 237-240 mL.

Americans will go to any extreme to avoid using metric measurements.

It's obviously a foot long glass of wodka.

Nothing is obvious with imperial units. It's clearly a glass supposed to be measured in metric units!

No, it's not.

It's a glass, made of glass.  Or possibly plastic.

Perhaps containing water.

Shirley, it's NOT "of water."

This is a pot of jam made with strawberries

Look at all these fools here arguing if it's glass or plastic, water or vodka... it's neither. It's just an image! People are so easily tricked by optical illusions, pff.

You're crazy.

That's an image of a small jar, apparently made of glass.

Pots are for cooking, and are made of metal, not with strawbellies.
