You should have bought a whole can , 12 baked beans wont go far , you get more beans in the Weatherspoon's 1.Pound 59 special  breakfast available on Monday mornings

Money's tight.....12 is enough on a shared dry cracker to keep us both going.

Kwan's Kitchen on canal road, Mae Hia.  Out the front of Empress Dental.  Best farang fare and Thai dishes in the area.  Bacon and Egg or rardna gai, up2u ... it's all good.

I agree, my family and I have eaten there quite often.  All meals are tops and not too expensive.

Can anyone recommend some good Western style breakfast places in Chiang Mai? The only one I go to right now is Ozarks (around Hang Dong) and I didn't even know about that until someone told me! I live in Mae Jo but I'll go anywhere.

If there is an English Pub somewhere they should have what you crave for...an English breakfast! I am not British but the first thing I look for when I go somewhere is an English Pub! Then I am saved! I do not fancy much Thai-food...and sorry, I do not know Chang Mai...never been that far north.

Might be a bit far but

The Moon Eatery has a great breakfast. Quality, perfectly cooked food at fair price, good service, easy to find.

Makro

Actually popped into Makro on Highway 108 this afternoon, lots of choices for a hearty Western Breakfast, however couldn't find their cooking facility, only the "staff" food truck in the carpark.

Was looking forward to crumpets with a poached duck egg in each hole. 😂

Cooking utensils and frying pans on the second floor and then just take it back to your pickup truck open the tailpipe plug everything into your truck and just cook there.

I just pop mine into the truck and drive around the corner to one of my properties and cook there

Last breakfast offering in Chiang Mai.

OMG

220 Baht

Also dropped in at Sausage King and picked up some Cumberland sausages, a large Pork Pie and a couple of sausage rolls.

Sausage King

Sausages were on a par with UK if you you want to knock up your own breakfast.

Pork pie and sausage rolls will be off to Bangkok with us for lunch tomorrow.

They also have a Garden Restaurant - below the recommended menu

Your apartment, condo or hotel room? Mix chia seeds, yogurt, fruit and granola.  Fry an egg in olive oil or just boil it in the kettle.  If you have good bread make toast with marmalade or avocado smushed on top.

Make some drip coffee and throw in some "half cream" from Tops.

What could be easier? C'mon.  You're going to eat out for lunch and dinner.  Why are you spending money on the easiest meal to make at home?  The price of a full English breakfast is outrageous and it's <deleted> unhealthy except for the beans. 🤔

Try Route 66, Vehicle heading towards town along Mea jo rd Turn to left at Ruam chok and travel towards Payap University along the ring rd. after the next intersection and just before the turn in to Payap Universary is Route 66 an American style diner. Some good looking ommelettes available. (The full English breakfast there is very good as well, cost 250 baht, with limitless tea and coffee).

Non-Asian breakfast so no boiled rice or fried chicken and sticky rice. 🙂

UN Irish pub the big Irish breakfast  is best in the city for me

Great sausages too.

I wonder if the original reason to open the UN Irish Pub is still in the picture?

(Opened by a branch of the UN as a way to give instant employment to Thai women just released from jail.)

   No it wasn't .

It was called an Irish pub initially when an Irishman first opened it, when he sold it to a non Irish person, they changed the name to the unIrish pub .

Nothing to do with the U.N

OMG just by the iron bridge on the Loy Kroh road side does a very good breakfast. Can be a bit of a wait as everything is cooked fresh but it's worth it. They also do very good fish and chips. The best I've had in CM although I am yet to visit Chippy at the Gate. At OMG you get decent bread and butter with the fish and chips along with a slice of pickled wally and a pickled onion.

Not the best in CM, but the best on the eastside ... maybe. For rice paddy dwellers. No such things as an 'American breakfast', but eggs, bacon, hash browns, and a short stack pancakes, or variations of, is one standard available at diners across the US. Grand Slam with home fries.
