What's the Thai immigration number to report illegal businesses and work?

What's the Thai immigration number to report illegal business and work? I have seen an uptick in businesses and work by foreigners in Thailand, and they post on many social media sites. I'm guessing it's 80/20, using the universal 80/20 rule. Yes, some may have a work permit through their Thai spouse. Also, I see an explosion of social media videos inviting westerners to come to Thailand to start a business because vendors in Thailand don't need a license to start selling as vendors, unlike in the West. These video posters have stepped up their activities from touting 5000-baht rooms and 50-baht meals to starting businesses as vendors in Thailand. I am thinking of tasking my concubines to scour English language social media and report any suspected businesses (like taxi services, tour guides, salons, selling foods on the streets, and other possibly illegal stuff) by Westerners and Indians who watch these English-language videos.

Calling immigration sounds like work. You might need a work permit to do that.

It is a Thailand problem that is best left to the Thais as they are the majority of the people potentially losing any money over this!

Wow, you really took that one out of context! The OP should mind his own business. Not get involved in something that has nothing to do with him. As he is not affected in the same way as the context you are suggesting where for sure he would want to catch whoever it was that hurt his family.

What a crass post!

It is obvious that I must have read it due to the fact I responded with reference to Thailand, Thais and their potential loss of revenue!

If you go down your route you may find that your next door Thai neighbour is impacted by your interference and tries to take revenge out on you!

I suggest you keep your nose well out of it and also don't second guess posters and insult them when you are asking for information!

Keep up the good work mate, too many scumbag, deadbeat foreigners in Thailand. 

 

The worse thing about Thailand is some of the foreigners.

I doubt whether anybody loses money.In practice farang working illegally are not displacing Thais from employment.In many cases these farang businesses are adding to employment opportunities.

 

Still the law is the law and it should be respected.

 

The actual danger - if it comes at all - to these businesses comes from Thais who want to exploit the opportunity the foreigner identified - often the foreigner's partner or a rival business interest.And it goes without saying the constabulary will always be sizing up the financial prospects.
