The bit of sheep’s intestine the haggis comes wrapped in makes an excellent, low cost re-usable traditional style condom.

So I've found this in the freezer what bit do I use and is that after I microwave it!

In the book "Eat, Love, Pray," Elizabeth Gilbert becomes acquainted with a local woman who specialized in fertility issues in Bali. The woman said that invariably Indonesian men would refuse to accept any responsibility for the inability to conceive even when it was clearly their fault. To solve the problem, she would turn to the local motorcycle taxi drivers and usually the woman was happy to oblige so long as she could conceive a baby.

As a Roman Catholic, nothing of course.  I did hear that the Pope was about to agree to a proposal, supported by several Cardinals, to allow Roman Catholics to use contraception, but the proposer withdrew at the last minute.

Pull out method - pull out your wallet......

Seriously - Vasectomy is the only answer.

The rhytym method is approved. It's actually quite effective if you follow the guidelines: chart temperature monthly, avoid sex while ovulating as well as a week before and a week after. That gives you about a two week window for binge sex and since anything but straight intercourse is forbidden, each session shouldn't take that long.

Haven’t known of any adults having such a conversation outside of their personal relationships, the last time was in high school back in the adolescent days way back when. It never occurred to me that adolescents were asking for advice here…

But TIT.

Was worried about unwanted pregnancy when i first met the missus.

A tube of KY for the backdoor entrance cured that.

Still not sure if she likes it or not but i certainly do.

I use the 'Getting off at Edge Hill' method (as they say in Liverpool, UK).

It's one of the last stations before you arrive at the main terminus station 🙂

I had a Prostatectomy. Seems quite effective.

And my wife doesnt understand why I don't have one, so it will be easier for me to pee!

Abstinence. Not that it would matter with my 64 year old post-menopausal wife.

Condoms help not only to prevent pregnancy but STDs too. Just read that Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) injections twice a year are 99% effective at preventing HIV but I guess it's not everyone's choice.

They might prevent pregnancy but in my experience prevent anything else happening.

Another proof that every old man that comes to Thailand is a virgin.

I read that it was every old man that comes to Thailand marries his virgin wife.

I've never really have casual sex with random women, certainly not in Thailand so nothing. I've always left up to partner or try and pull out. Problem I'm now 40 and have 4 kids with 3 different Thai women. One each with ex girlfriends and now two with current partner. Recently got a vasectomy for the sake of my wallet.

Don't need it when the Fallopian tubes are tied.

That seems to be the norm these days with Thai ladies after they had two kids. My GF is worried if she gets "done" that she'll either go off sex or become a nympho. I'm not that keen on the "snip". For now she takes the "pill". Thoughts?

There is no real reason for your GF's libido to change. The desire for sex comes from hormone production levels - tying off the Fallopian tubes does nothing to interfere with that function.

If anything, your GF may find sex more enjoyable without the concern of becoming pregnant.

The long-term use of oral contraceptives does increase the risk of cervical cancer, blood clots and stroke.

My GF's daughter has had her tubes tied, she is quite active sexually. Not with me, I'm too old for a rerun of "The Graduate".

Still, a vasectomy is just a 20-minute outpatient trip to the doctor and mild discomfort and a tubal ligation is major surgery and a two-day hospital stay. Usually, it's done after a baby delivery.

Just out of curiosity, I was wondering what kind of contraception members use with a girlfriend or wife. Does anybody actually use a condom every time? If not, what are the other options? Are diaphragms readily available in Thaiand? The pill? Or is the rhythm method preferred. I have seen studies that claim the rhythm method is just as effective as condoms if it's used correctly. I know from personal experience, however, that it's easy to have an accident. Personally, I dislike condoms , so I consider one of the big benefits of a steady relationship is that you can dispense with them if you prefer.

Also, if you do hook up with somebody and are thinking of entering into a long-term relationship, do you insist on having them tested first? And yourself? To make sure there are no hidden issues.  I've never done that but I wonder if it would be wise.

My ED.
