As an American, the USA is the last country on the planet that I  would take any advice on a "Democratic Process".

Considering Biden and his cronies at the SS, FBI and CIA are doing everything they can to put the opposition in prison or turn a blind eye to an assassination attempt,  I think the Thai government have a valid response - even if you do not agree with them

Well said- I’d add the ATF & NSA to that grouping.

THailand has its own democracy, but unfortunately they have no clue what a democracy is and how it works...Even opinions of other countries are being criticised as that is not conform the freedom of speech that doesn't exists here. Autocracy is more suitable.

It’s been on French news and headlines this morning.  Thailands political reputation is ruined ! No sane country will trust Thai politicians again. The situation gets worse, if that’s possible. The Thais must be either afraid or spineless to not react.
Or just plain old lazy ??

Even in the so-called Democratic countries USA and UK are certainly not and yes Thailand once again ignoring the General Election results.
Yes, USA and Blighty are not democratic and the apathy regarding the latter is insignificant.

The U.S. is "suppossed" to be a Representative ...  Constitutional Republic

with the excedptioon of the current "representative are doing anything they can to ignore the Constitution

Come on America, start taking a very close look at Thailands banks, money laundering,  slavery, copyright, and strategic value (Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore are better value for the $). Thailand and other similar countries simply take for granted the millions given to them Free, just stop giving it.

China controls the Mekong and thus China controls Vietnam. Malaysia has already declared for China. Singapore is leaning that way. Only the Philippines stand as a loyal American ally in ASEAN. All of Indochina, Thailand, Myanmar, and Malaysia have declared for China.

No they don't and no they don't! What a totally and utter donkey to retort to one of Thailand's most important partners like that. You do not speak for Thais in any way shape of form bar your own little cabal of dinosaurs. One of the saddest, most annoying politburo stooges if there ever were one. 🤮

Wa##KER

an educated leader which is exactly what Thailand needs - the people voted for MFP, 14m people, a majority - sorry but i would not be accepting this, 14m people were are you

this country Thailand doesn't have democracy - it pretends holding elections and the ### go vote then the  result  is ignored, I'd be feeling seriously ### off

why pretend there is democracy here - call it what it is and stop having these meaningless elections - it really is absurd

MFP won the election, the people made their choice, the people obviously agreed with what they stood for 14m of them

the west should speak very loud about this - yes they have voiced concerns recenty but not about the election

MFP did get the most votes but the problem is they didn't get enough votes to form a majority to govern. This could happen in any other country where the both of the major parties didn't get more than 50% to form a government in their own right. The constitution court decision is another issue.

we must remember, they had a coalition, but after the election they were betrayed, by a party that now holds goverment, which betrayed the Thai people.

Anyone who trusts a Thai where there is power or money involved are just looking for trouble. It's my belief that the new party will again be dissolved either before the next election or even if the new party were to gain a 60% plus victory. The cronies would be sitting in their spacious mansions now making plans for the history to repeat itself.
