A shocking example of tourist atitudes taking the piss!

This is rich, I watched a Thai piss against the wall of my daughter’s school and no one include the police controlling traffic right there battered an eye.

Netizens need to see the sewerage outfall pumped into the ocean that flows along the beach toward WS...then they would realise that what this Walla did is merely

"a drop in the ocean'

🙃🫠😉

He couldn't wait until he got back to his hotel swimming pool?

They also expressed concerns that the tourists’ reckless behaviors could ruin Pattaya’s reputation as a world-class family friendly tourist destination and deter other tourists from visiting Pattaya City.

Is this statement a joke.. the whole place is a 🚽

The dogs crapping on the beach is a far greater problem.

Pattaya — Thai social media users are outraged after a video surfaced online showing male tourists blatantly urinating on Pattaya Beach.

The video, posted by a Facebook user with the caption “Swimmers swim, and urinators urinate,” quickly went viral in a popular Pattaya Facebook group with over 200,000 members.

The incident sparked widespread outrage, with many Thais, especially Pattaya locals, questioning why the beachgoer didn’t use the available restrooms.

They also expressed concerns that the tourists’ reckless behaviors could ruin Pattaya’s reputation as a world-class family friendly tourist destination and deter other tourists from visiting Pattaya City.

Local journalists went to investigate the incident scene and confirmed that it took place on Pattaya Beach. The urination occurred late at night or early in the morning on September 17th, likely after the individuals had been drinking.

Chinese? Because if European or Yank the article would say. If he uses a public or hotel toilet the deed would land more or less in the same spot, only later because it has to wind it's way through the canalisation. A clear Monopoly playing card: "Do not go past the sewage clearance plant, go straight to the pipes and out to sea".

Giving makes it more likely. Don't most beach lovers go for a quick 'swim' during their hours lying on the beach? Just adding to the effluent flowing in from elsewhere?😉

My TAT inspired image of the beautiful resort destination of Pattaya is forever shattered 😂

How did they know he was a tourist?

Plenty bars and restos on beach road, 5 or 10 baht will let you use them..there's no excuse

But netizens only seem outraged if it is done by foreigners. See a Thai doing it and noone bats an eye. Although taking a crap in the sea while on a boat does not show preference to this. But taking a pee out in public I always thought as normal in Thailand. Something seen almost daily.

You sound like a victim.

Harden up.

O M G

There goes the good name of a family friendly tourist location.   :shock1:

When you consider who the TAT has been attracting of late I think Pattaya is lucky its only urinating at the  beach thats a problem and not yet the other bodily function in the streets of Pattaya.

Meanwhile, 50 metres off shore, 5000 swimmers are doing exactly the same thing

Thats a good point. Charging to use the toilet is a good enough reason for me to piss into the ocean. I dont blaame others for doing it

Why is it that Thai perverts love to take photos of foreigners in a state of undress or carrying out normal bodily functions, and then post them on the internet.

Yet foreigners do not take photos of Thais doing the same things (or worse).

Coming from a nation that had a vendor that was weeing into his noodle water, I find this ironic

This is a ridiculous statement, Pattaya has always been a sex city and always will be. Any who takes their children there is very foolish..

I think you missed the irony in this oft-repeated clause.

where is the police

Which raises the question of where police who patrol the beache areas urinate?

Yeuch...... seen them dump kids on dining tables in shxtty nappies too!

Why is this such a big deal. It only seems to offend when it's a Foreigner. I see the Thai chaps who work on the beach looking after the jetskis and speed boats doing this not a word said about it. When motorbike taxi riders hop off there bike and urinate along the side of the road nothing but it's fire and brimstone if it's a tourist. Locals need to set a good example first.

Considering the raw sewage that flows into the sea and the propensity for tossing rubbish into the sea, perhaps the tourists thought peeing on the beach was also acceptable?

Another nothing story akin to yesterday's bar fight.  And, likely another one will show up tomorrow.  All pretty much the same.  Someone posts something minor and the newspaper picks it up and gives it a bit of oxygen.  I seriously doubt there was  'widespread outrage'--but quite a lot of widespread hype by the newspaper, and Asean Now.

How true

Wonder how they feel about fish shi++ing in the ocean!!

Perfectly fine pissing below the tide level especially directly into the ocean

Maybe Pattaya needs more public toilets?

Ah, because Pattaya bay so pristine... Got it
