See ya. As I get older, I am developing a new skill set. I am becoming very good at ignoring nonsense, ignorance, naivety, and overly judgmental people. 

 

They barely register on my horizon. Social media seems to have amplified things and the media itself is "overly woke", which essentially means unconscious. I just don't care. Water off a ducks back. Don't have time for the foolishness.

 

Later on in my life, it became a big theme: just being okay and comfortable to take the risk and to have really thick skin and realize not everybody is going to love you or what you put out there. Get over it, and if you believe in yourself, your product, your act, your music, or just about anything, just keep going forward.

Your posts are good other than your political ones, as others have said. You dont have to switch sides but maybe a re evaluation of all the lies fed to you about trump would help your mental health

there has been a distinct drop since the catastrophic loss 3 days ago, the most vocal anti Trumpers are still in hiding,  licking their wounds and probably all dehydrated from all the tears they've shed, i doubt they will be around for a while. There is only 1 man trying to keep fight alive now.

i for one am grateful of that, it was ridiculous, however admins are to blame, as starting Trump threads brings traffic to the website.

In 2020 we had sore losers.

 

In 2024 it seems we have sore winners.

Pretty funny how when you are new to all this online garbage you start to take things seriously. I, myself have stormed out a few times only to return a new man, if you get the drift.

I have the 'Thai motoring' forum & 'Alternative Renewable Energy' forums bookmarked, and the only 2 that interest me.  That's waning, since I have EVs & solar already, and why I joined AN.

 

Food, movies & jokes bookmarked as well.

 

I scan new content with morning coffee, and 8-10 hrs of new content takes all of 5 minutes to ignore.  It's a quick read.   Open a few threads in other tab, and go back to them, after ignoring all the political, anti USA/CN/TH drivel, along with every MVA in TH.

 

Do wonder why I'm here myself of late.  Just too much time on my hands.   Especially with this extended rainy season.

 

I would think all the pre US election (Trump bashing) threads would be closed, since election over.  Oh well, such are forums.

Of course, the flip side is that I appreciate that the lefties aren't really that dumb.  They've just been spoon fed bad information.  They have to hold their noses and click on Fox occasionally if they want to get both sides of any story.  Hell, I even link to CNN on occasion.  But I just can't stomach MSDNC...

it's lucky Trump won, if you listen to the latest Rogan musk podcast,(first 30 mins) the dems were coming for X, then we'd have no truth only Democrat /left version of events. luckily that didn't happed.

Hopefully the Trump admins will shake up Facebook and other social media outlets, he has seen how ferocious the dems were and won't be so blasé this time round.
