If they're American, well - they're probably 'Black Ops', CIA undercover, Special Forces, been shot down over Vietnam for the 3rd time - or maybe, can't be bothered to post to this forum for a change?

Thank whoever the election is over.

Next year there will be ample time for Trump supporters to crow and squawk, knowing Trump's penchant to be ridiculously controversial and be in the news daily,

They probably realise that there is little point, since the "political soapbox" is dominated by what can only be described as crowing, and if you do post you are met by allegations of mental instability.

Actually I thought that steps were being taken to put a stop to that, but it rather seems to be left untouched!

Absolutely correct.

What little new content appears these days, even trivial nonsense, is repeated for days.

At this point I'm taking a breather from AN. Maybe I'll check in again in a few months.

But listening to a bunch of wide-eyed sycophantic and willfully ignorant  morons lauding the crowning of an authoritarian bully is not only depressing but boring. We've heard it all before after all.

By my calculations about 15 million registered voters (161.420M in 2022) didn't vote, which would have made a difference.

So they, by inaction, voted for a tyrant.

All I can say as an American is that a hard rain is aggonna fall, drowning my beloved country and the world in a tsunami of lies, incompetence boardering on lunacy, and hardships for all.

America got what it thinks it wanted but it certainly will not be what they imagined it to be. People voted for him because he promised them a golden economic era; all they will get is older and deeper in debt.

Perhaps feeling estranged from the USA  as I am. My other thought is not to waste time projecting … “what ifs”. Naa, let us wait until what we feared and pointed out comes into fruition. 1 st thing happening now … failure to file required transition forms so the current administration passes on current information to the incoming administration. Result … gap in US government preparedness.

Interesting outlook considering the whole popularity of Trump and his Project 2025;ilk is to shake up the status quo, do away with much of the way things have been done from government regulations, education, taxation, trade, etc. “We’ll see, said the Zen Master “ (tip of the hat to the movie, “Charlie Wilson’s War”).

One can say that there are "sore losers" on here some only by their absence.

But there is also a term "gracious winner" and not too many of those on here either.

Trump claims not to know who is behind Project 2025. A CNN review found at least 140 people who worked for him are involved

Updated 2:45 PM EDT, Thu July 11, 2024

Donald Trump has lately made clear he wants little to do with Project 2025, the conservative blueprint for the next Republican president that has attracted considerable blowback in his race for the White House.

“I have no idea who is behind it,” the former president recently claimed on social media.

Many people Trump knows quite well are behind it.

Six of his former Cabinet secretaries helped write or collaborated on the 900-page playbook for a second Trump term published by the Heritage Foundation.

If only Trump watched the fake news, then CNN could inform him. 🙂 Funny how our remaining leftists cling to old DNC talking points after the election's been decided, like imagining a phantom limb after amputation. But the sore loser fallback position will be continuing to prophecy DOOM and keep up the trolling. What else is there in life?

I was just replying to the post above that Trump never-heard-of Project 2025.

JD Vance wrote the Foreward to the 2023 version:

Ohio Sen. JD Vance, Donald Trump’s running mate, praised the vision of Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts in the foreword of a forthcoming book that could conflict with the Trump campaign’s effort to distance itself from Heritage’s Project 2025 transition effort.

https://apnews.com/article/jd-vance-foreword-heritage-foundation-project-2025-a34d091fd401056c938c8897c1ebabd6

However the current version on the Heritage Foundation website has a forward by Kevin Roberts with no mention of Vance, anywhere.

JD Vance wrote the Foreward to the 2023 version

To an unpublished book he may have never read. He mostly praised the lead author in general and the Heritage Foundation. Doesn't prove Trump's knowledge of Project 2025 and he's disavowed it several times. In fact, parts of it conflict with his agenda.

Still, Vance spokesman William Martin distanced Vance and the Trump campaign from Project 2025 in a statement on Tuesday.

“The foreword has nothing to do with Project 2025. Senator Vance has previously said that he has no involvement with it and has plenty of disagreements with what they’re calling for,” Martin wrote in an email. “Only President Trump will set the policy agenda for the next administration.”

So you're merely picking up a tired DNC talking point parroted by the propaganda press and then inevitably by our leftists here.

I wonder when we'll stop digging around for bones in those old graveyards and move on. Soon as Trump does something, like deports an illegal criminal alien before he can receive his taxpayer-funded gender reassignment surgery, you'll have plenty of leftist squawks to parrot.

Well, almost one week since the election.

I still haven’t noticed the return of one of the most popular and influential predictors of the election.

A subject matter expert in every topic he posts on.  Evidence is the numerous expert awards I personally granted him.

With sincere regret I must revoke several of those awards without prejudice.

I certainly hope I will not have to reclassify @Danderman123 status from MIA to KIA.

If necessary and to be announced at a later date, a 30 second moment of silence on the political threads will be observed as a memorial.

Parroted a DNC fearmongering talking point that scared you then. Now after it's been refuted and buried already, as no one cares, you need to go out to the graveyard, dig up an old bone from a different corpse, and wave it around. Ooh. Still scared? As I said, you'll have plenty of squawks mindlessly to parrot later on. Be patient.

Since as noted above approximately 140 of the contributors to the Project 2025 doc served in the prior Trump administration and would likely be considered for the new administration, I don't see that anything has been refuted.

The election is over. Trump won. Harris lost.

Now comes the small matter of running the government.

You wouldn't. You'd need to understand that speculation isn't fact and that you haven't proved anything by speculating and repeating speculations. You haven't shown that Trump knew anything specific about Project 2025. His disavowal and the campaign's disavowal and the 2024 Republican Party platform, which Trump helped to write, which contradicts important points in Project 2025, is sufficient evidence you have but fearmongering DNC campaign rumors and lies to repeat, beating a dead horse. Nobody's scared by those old bones, though you may pretend to be. YAWN. You may need help to get out of your bickering loop soon.

I haven't tried and it really makes no difference. The only operative thing is the extent to which contributors to the Project will be in the new administration.

It's no secret. And they are entitled to serve if chosen and in some cases confirmed by the Senate.

About which you haven't the slightest idea, which I suppose is an excuse for playing more scary music. Now if you did, what difference do you know it would make, except as a reason to blow more hot air?

Interesting. IMO the worst and most unsavoury aspect was the years of non allowance of fact that ran contrary to false and knowingly false democrat narratives. How on earth was it deemed a good idea to force people to believe Hunters lappy was false and the Russia collusion hoax was true even though the persons involved knew they were factually incorrect and running on borrowed time.

Checking back on this forum after a years absence I see we have moved to a more fact based discussion where the false dem narratives have been blown out of the water. Wherever a free and fair discussion is allowed these preposterous democrat narratives are debunked in short order. Think Ill stick around if fair discussion is permitted as it would seem to be.

True. Much less liberal bias now, a marked improvement from years past. Needed for the membership numbers, I guess. Doubtful it's owing to Musk's influence🙂, but we've now moved away from the era of fake news into that of alternative media.

Punching holes into Dem narratives here is great sport.
