Order online, then, where there is the offer.

I've had some ordinary experiences with ordering perishable food online, don't do it anymore.

Some delivery companies don't give a rats' rectum what condition chilled or frozen food is in, and Chiang Rai is a long way from Bangkok.

You think that it would be delivered to Chiang Rai from a Bangkok store?

You should know by now anything is possible in Thailand.

Obviously, it would not come from the Chiang Rai store, would it?

Went back to Makro yesterday and the offer is still going but only 2 days left now.  My freezer is now groaning with cheese but they had stocked up again so should be plenty left for those interested in purchasing some.  Enjoy.

Leave it in the pack unopened in the fridge and it's good for months. Freeze it and you ruin a perfectly good cheese.

Yes, but if it takes a month to eat so it goes bad...

That's the problem for a single person and "buy one get one free" offers.

Cheese does not go bad so easily as long as the packing is unopened. The expiry date does not mean that the cheese will be bad at that particular date. You can keep it for much longer without any loss of taste.

Most cheeses freeze well.  Ours had a BBD 1 March 2025, and probably won't last this month.  Thinking of getting a couple more.

Good snacking for those staying away from carbs.

Just got mine, but I think I bought the last Tasty, all that's left is Vintage (about 100 left at 11:30am).

Think the offer allows 1+1 on Vintage (reading my receipt), and for some reason 4bht off each pack as well, so 4x cheese for a total of 542bht.

So cheese that has matured for 24 months goes bad after 25 months? I will let you into a secret, aged cheddars can last 6 months to a year after opening if refrigerated.

Cheese I bought says best before 3/2025, think it'll be gone before then, so in the fridge.

Thanks!

I also can put "Blue Danish" on it when it starts to stink......

PS. In EU I have aged Holland Gouda. It's OK for a month in room temp.

Not in the fridge mate. Cheese going bad that takes a long time.

If Blue Danish doesn't "stink" it's not a good Blue Danish. Need that bacteria still kickin'.

No, like i said many people were talking about different locations, you chose not to bother

You asked the op about his location when he had clearly stated it in the first post, you could have scrolled back to see that but you chose not to bother.

I gave you the answer to your question about the OP’s location but it seems to have gotten you annoyed ?
