Farangs on motorbikes

Featured Replies

  • Popular Post

I was a little shocked and upset  to hear of Pattaya socialite Barry Kenyon being killed by a alleged farang on a motorbike whilst waiting on a pedestrian island to cross a road in Jomtien

I must say I noticed last time in Pattaya   a "free for all " from young farangs going berserk on motorbikes particularly in Jomtien where they would go bat out of hell with no helmets on

No police around,no one cares it ends up in deaths , innocent people

And I have no idea if it's the same type of policing in other parts of tourist areas eg Phuket

But I can assure you more people will lose their lives as SELFISH tourist farangs think their is no law

I was going to say ok I agree let's not make it like Australia, but Australia is just as bad where they allow people to ride fast push bikes on pedestrian footpaths !!!!!

The police particularly the tourist police need to clamp down,it appears they have lowered their obligations

More deaths caused by farangs this high season no doubt as the young ones affected by alcohol will speed madly

And it's m farangs from EVERY country doing this ...

Watch as they speed in Jomtien, loud motorbikes ,"look at me ,look at me !!!

Step out of the way and let them do them selves in and hope they don’t kill anyone while doing so.

He being a long time expat should have known you can't just walk across crossings, you have to wait until clear

I'm guessing you also noticed how many locals drive like mad, and that about 60 die each day in Thailand, mostly on scooters and almost all locals.

Usually they do not drink alcohol

But what I'm posting about is the younger farangs ,with no helmets going berserk revving up their motorbikes for all to see ..why ?

Why haven't the police cracked down on this ....like they used to ?

Have they been told NOT to?

Yes, Australia is worse, this is a big issue now because the court system, the judges are Woke, lefties, they are allowing offenders off, too bloody lenient, these offenders walk away from the courts only to reoffend.

Ha ha, was he a foreigner.

I see these idiots everyday.

Nasty, horrible people

These fools should stay in their home country, where it's safe.

Idiots come to Thailand and expect rules of the west.

Come and live in Luang Prabang (Laos), no fast cars or motorbikes because the roads are so godamn awful, (or maybe it's the Lao temperament).  Everyone drives/rides slowly, which makes it much safer for the 7-year olds on their e-bikes...

But you continue to let it happen!

You as a former supreme Court judge like you said ,did nothing !

Perhaps I can ask you to show some community spirit and actually Police this vicinity?

Surely you can do this albeit a few hours a week, instead you want to come on here and pass "judgement"

I now live in an area where I hardly see Farang/tourists on motorcycles, and the way a lot of Thai people ride out here is incredible to behold. It makes your crazy Farang on motorcycles look like amateurs by comparison. Whatever your crazy Farangs are doing, they take it to another level. They have absolutely no fear. The main culprits are young people. Note, I said "a lot of", not all. Many Thai riders drive safely, too, but very few wear helmets.

I guess all the haters, Thai bashers didn't actually read any details of the accident.   People that don't use the crosswalk, really should take more care, and stay the hell out of the way of on coming traffic ...
