Thai Woman Seeks Public Help to Find Missing British Husband

Featured Replies

Police should check the missing guys bank account to see if he purchased extra batteries and power packs for the Mobility scooter, also if he purchased extra bags of dog food. Possibility this guy could be heading for the Cambodian border. Maybe the honeymoon with the relationship is over

Would have thought if the guy is still in Thailand would be easy to find due to his lack of mobility

Seems like something more than meets the eyes 👀 🤔

And then, if she speak the truth:

It would be better if he left Thailand, as then she would know he´s alive. Very few persons go missing 1 month will be found alive.

Last option: The guy just went out of his tricycle, left the dog, changed name, took plastic surgery and are now happy staying with a 25 year old.

He wouldn't even need the plastic surgery, he could very easily live on his own. The real question is what was going on between these two, and why was he so reluctant to talk it out and at least show her the courtesy of knowing that he's leaving.

Strange we have the name of the dog but not the name of the disappeared husband. Regarding his intentions that day, he took his dog Archie with him. Brits generally are fond of their dogs. Could have been taking the dog for a walk, or could he have been seeking an alternative life with another partner, plus his dog. Anyway, hoping against hope he has not been harmed.

It doesn't say whether Archie the dog made it home?

No indeed. The whole story is vague. I fear it will not end well.

My exgf from kalasin checked me up 5 times an hour.Even called security to ask about me.

Anyway the only reason for that was because she was crazy jealous.

Community members have also provided mixed responses, with some supporting Phavika and others speculating on her husband’s possible motives for leaving.

This says a lot!, The nosey neighbors know more than they are letting on!!

Hard to see him making a dash for freedom (at 4 km/h) on that motability scooter.

Where's the nearest disused well / mine shaft / sink hole that the loving wife told him was her favourite spot to get away from it all.

I think those scooters can go faster than that. That's without any modification.

A bigger impediment would be where he could go on it. Much of the highway infrastructure isn't pedestrian friendly let alone mobility scooter friendly.

This is one of those topics so bizarre it sends me down the rabbit holes...  (Or it may just be that I'm bored and laid up with a cold after my recent trip to Bangkok)

A study by Statistics Netherlands comparing fatalities to the number of kilometres travelled shows that 275 users of the mobility scooter die per billion kilometres.

And that number is much higher when you compare it to, for example, motorcyclists, who have an average of 50 deaths per billion kilometres.

For moped and light-moped riders, their number falls to 42, cyclists stand at 13, and pedestrians have 11 deaths per billion kilometres.

It's official: The humble mobility scooter is the deadliest form of transport in the Netherlands | DutchReview

I sure hope the guy's okay...

Nowhere in this story does it mention about his being handicapped,  it may be that he just likes to use that type of transport for getting around

The chair in the pic isn’t the type that folds up. If he was planning an escape he would have to book a special car he can ride into. Bangkok has them but upcountry I doubt there is much. Wouldn’t be difficult to find out if he used such a service.

Why  didn't she just go to the bank and tell them she lost her ATM card as this it seems is what it is all about.

Yeah this is upcountry. If you fart more than normal it’ll go around the village. Someone riding around on a mobility scooter away from the moo baan would be the talk of the town.

What happened to the dog? Dogs usually fine their way home???

For a dog, their master is home.

She finally went to Po Po for help when she finally realized that she wasnt going to get her monthly spousal stipend!

Perhaps he’s a Liverpool supporter and has become a  recluse in mourning while playing the "victim"….

With my diet and medication EVERY fart "goes around the village " much to retching villagers revulsion. 🤮 Think they’d thank Buddha for MY disappearance…

Because for some a reason to stay un-found is more desirable

Surely some ex-pats in Udon know of the guy. His wife hasn’t done herself any favours, and makes her actions very suspicious, by delaying her report of his disappearance. I hope this ends well but after this significant period of time I have my doubts.

My thought aswell, the mobility scooter could be a part of a elaborated escape plan and he got his real escape vehicle e.g. a Honda Hayabuse hidden in a nearby paddy. Regardless, hope nothing happened and, if it did, it happened quick

Was he wealthy, and is therea life assurance policy in place.

Should be fairly easy for the police to get to the bottom of this, if they want to. Check his and her bank accounts. Check his cellphone pings.

Sadly I strongly suspect he is not going to be found alive. Too many red flags.

Anyone remember years ago there was a Khon Kaen woman had her Thai BF put her British husband through a woodchipper.

A Thai woman from Udon Thani is seeking public assistance to find her British husband, who vanished after the Loy Krathong Festival in early November

Obviously a loving relationship, she seeks public assistance after missing for a month.

Probably had to hide the evidence.

I read they had a pig farm
