Crime Businessman Denies Ex’s Claims of Assault and Vandalism Plot
Picture courtesy of Daily News. A paint and thinner supplier has turned to legal adviser and social media advocate Dr Kaew for help, after his former lover filed a police complaint accusing him of sending associates to attack her and spray abusive graffiti on her car. The woman, identified only as “Nidnoi”, 33, a PR employee from Ubon Ratchathani, lodged a complaint at Pak Khlong San Police Station. She alleged that her ex-partner, “Tao”, 43, had continued to harass her after their breakup, instructing men to assault her and deface her vehicle with offensive spray-painted messages. She also told police that their relationship had ended due to his violent temper. Police have begun an investigation and are expected to summon both parties for questioning. In response, Tao presented documents to Dr. Paramet Chaipatcharakulphong, widely known as Dr Kaew, founder of the popular “Dr Kaew Can Help” page and an adviser to the Deputy Minister of the Interior, to assert his innocence and request legal support. He insists the allegations are false, describing the case as “a completely different story to reality.” According to Tao, he and Nidnoi began a relationship in 2023 while she was working at a restaurant in Nonthaburi. Although he was already married, he claims she was aware of his situation and accepted a financial arrangement under which he covered her living costs, including rent, transport and expenses. Tao said the relationship deteriorated last year when he was hospitalised for three months, during which his wife cared for him. He claims he later discovered that Nidnoi had become involved with another man, yet continued asking him for money. After ending the relationship only recently, he attempted to recover some funds, but she allegedly avoided him and mocked him in messages. He further claimed that he has evidence proving their relationship continued until recently, including chat records, bank statements and photos, contradicting her claim that they separated in August 2024. Addressing the accusations of assault and vandalism, Tao insisted he played no part, saying: “If there is evidence linking me, bring it forward. The attack she suffered came from issues with her colleagues, not me.” He explained that he had approached Dr Kaew partly out of concern for his wife and eldest daughter, admitting guilt over his extra-marital relationship, but also to protect his reputation and business interests. Dr Kaew, after reviewing Tao’s documents, said: “From the evidence I have seen, there are many points which do not match what the young woman has been saying publicly. The man has come to seek justice and is concerned for his safety. Nothing is above the law in Thailand and I am willing to help with the legal process.” He urged both parties to end the dispute peacefully: “If one side has decided to end it, the other must also move on, otherwise there will only be more legal cases. To all men, I want to remind you, be careful with relationships outside the home. Your family is always what matters most.” Police say the case remains under investigation.
