just keep your hands of Moyes.

I think Jose will never get another job in the Premier League, or what will be left of it

With all these sackings and financial settlements Mourinho is doing incredibly well for himself financially. He'll be back in football by next season for sure. Did Levy time the sacking today as its less of a story than the Super League breakaway?

Could be the same story. Maybe Mourinho was going to publicly spit his dummy out over the ESL.

Eddie Howe in? Looked nailed on for Celtic job then had an abrupt change of heart. Maybe this is why.

Might Jose turn up at Bayern Munich? Doubt it personally, but you never know.

Rumour is that he refused to take the team training due to Spurs involvement in the Super League. He was sacked on the spot. If true, Spurs will presumably say he breached his contract therefore no compo.

Why are Spurs going to be in this super league? they've never won <deleted> all

Should be Forest, they've won the European Cup twice, or Aston Villa winners in '82.

To be fair though Spurs have won things, who could forget the Nolia Cup in Sweden in 77 or the Sun International Challenge Trophy in Swaziland in 1983?

The only thing he shouldn't have been sacked for!!! Still glad to see him go.

Heard the same.
If true, would be the first time o would have to say “Respect”

Good move to engineer your own sacking - he has form (2nd Chelsea sacking). Was living on borrowed time anyway.

But would this sacking be for refusing to carry his duties? Not sure if he would get a pay out for that???

Some chatter that the decision to bin him was actually made on Friday; presumably after the Everton game. Was it leaked to him? Was it the reason for his mutiny this morning? Don't think he'll be signing on at his local Jobcentre.

Not true at all. The Athletic has a good story on what was going on behind the scenes. Pretty much lost all the players apart from Kane.

Doesn't look like he lost Son, very effusive in his praise for Jose, thanking him and wishing him well for the future. Probably wants to follow him to his next job.

Who do you reckon will take over? will they go for a big name? Maybe Scott Parker

Quite an interesting one this. If the FA and UEFA etc are prepared to ban players for playing in the SL they should also ban any Manager who manages teams in the SL, particularly anyone who takes a position after the announcement. Would that dissuade a top, top manager from managing one of these clubs or would the money be just too tempting? I have my view

He will soon be rivalling Sven for making more money out of being sacked that for actually coaching.

I really haven't a clue how to second guess Pep tomorrow.  Is he going to play his best 11(hope so) or has he got his eyes on the semi with PSG in 3 days?

He was sacked for being a giant mushroom....now its time for Nagelsmann and some new defenders please.

Explain the mushroom analogy.

Harry Kane playing, probably with an injection, was a gamble that misfired ,can't remember him having a shot on target ,that would be a new record. The rooky coach still played a better team than Jose would have. No disgrace with a one goal difference. Far from a "choke".
