An heir to a gas station and delivery business fortune in Chacherngsao has claimed that his ex-wife and her mother robbed him of 16.3 million baht.

Kitti Photjananuphap, 38, is also the head of a national Thai amulet association and is known widely as "Tam Paet Rew".

Kitti married Thitirach, 42, twenty years ago. She was a car cleaner at one of his gas stations in the Phanom Sarakham area of the province east of Bangkok.

The couple never registered their marriage. Kitti said he was kind to her and never hit her.

Now he claims that with her mother Aree, 66, she stole 300 amulets worth at least 5 million baht from two safes at his house. She also took 300,000 baht in cash and 11 million baht in four bank accounts.

The theft occurred at the end of May and he has reported the matter to the local police.

A summons was issued and the wife was supposed to turn up with her lawyer at 10 am yesterday to face charges of theft.

She failed to show saying she wanted to change her legal representation.

The case continues.

Hysterical. Love to know how he is going to explain to his members, that not one of his amulets gave him any protection whatsoever. Possibly the only thing that could be funnier, would be a fortune teller getting robbed, and telling the cops they didn't see it coming.

Looks like he should have spent more money on a better house than amulets

You're not still using 12345678 as the password are you?

With that much in her pocket she can quit the Land of Scams and live quietly in some Caribbean backwater !

Just love the need to point out that he never hit her lmao............

Jeez, he's got so many around his neck that he can't even stand up straight ...

tvf should make this story a "stickie" to help ease the pain of farangs that have been duped by their teerak

She failed to show knowing she still needed to spend most of the money.

So his amulets didn't work then?

You have to wear them if you want them to work. Pretty obvious, I would say ????

Only if they were actually gold & not just spray painted

Let's see if I can work up a tear over a guy who capitalizes on Buddhism.  It's a grifter's game.  No - no tears coming, ever.

What a numpty, snivelling that he was good to her and didnt hit her. He is an amulet short of a full set.
