Borpan the countries most popular lam cing act are on tonight at wat saphan prakanong, it's not far from bitec. It's the top line diamond wat as their office is near. Nong Bua also appearing, shes good.

The Yodrak song above has already been posted earlier. I believe Grammy sent Tai to train with Banyyen Raggen to gain dancing skills for that MV in the dailymotion link. This singer is probably the best modern dancer of any Thai singer, used to be a muay thai boxer when she was young. Did a double act with her much larger sister.

I did not post the last one cos the last time I did it got slated for not being 'Thai' music, by a moaning falang of course. She got in a bit of trouble for that MV and had to blur a bit out. Thais do have a genius for song and dance!

Chulalonkorn University is hosting the 45 annual conference on traditional music, from all over the world. Tomorrows talks are interesting if interested in the history of Thai recording. KK Uni is very active in Thai music study. The Rabbit records mentioned was the Grammy of it's day, a book needs to be written about that. Dr Mitchell taught at KK before and wrote the book about luktung posted on here.

Banyyen Raggen what she does not know about morlam is not worth knowing. Well into her 60's but still performs, her daughter Kandy is a DJ on fm 95 and has performed as well. check out the hand movements!
