Manager reported that a team of Crime Suppression Division investigators served a warrant on a 46 year old Thai woman who drugged and robbed a German tourist in Hua Hin earlier in the year.

Thatsananporn Wongsawang from Sa Kaeo was arrested at a house in Muang district of Kamphaeng Phet in Thailand's north-west.

She was named in a warrant issued by the Hua Hin court on May 2nd for theft at night.

The media said that the suspect was formerly a chef at a well known Hua Hin hotel.

While in Hua Hin struck up a friendship with a German tourist. Once she had gained his trust they went together to where he was staying.

There she secretly put sleeping tablets in his drink and he was knocked out.

She then stole goods to the value of one million baht and fled the area.

When the victim came round he went to the Hua Hin police to report the matter.

Police investigations led to Kamphaeng Phet.

The suspect said she had spent the money on cosmetic surgery in an effort to improve her looks.

She was taken back to Hua Hin to face the charge outlined in the warrant.

Manager used the word farang in their headline and stated that the victim was a tourist, notes Thaivisa.

A tourist with 1 million baht of value in his place of stay. Idiot or fake news?

Obviously she spent way too much on changing her appearance, from the picture it looks like they erased her whole face, and not just her wrinkles.

The big question is...will the German now be able to pick her

out in a line- up.

For me one of the best comments on plastic surgery was the guy on a chat show in uk. They were talking about star's birthdays and he said ' most of Cher will be xx years old tomorrow.

How does the German explain that to his wife back home?

Why is there so much crime in a place like Hua Hin? Had a short break there back in 2013 and it looked very quiet.
