It is official?  The Land of Smile is slowly turning into the Land of Stupid. The more patriotic the more Stupid and this comes from a real smart Thai MP, years ago but was censor or removed after his comment? Any country doing it just isn't living in reality.

 

Thailand has escape the first wave they got lucky due to the size of their country and the real freedom or sense of free speech by shutting everything down. That force everyone including Expat here to be quarantine thus the reason?  no new cases ?? days because those here don't have it. Do the math it isn't rocket science new cases are coming from outside.

 

But living on an island isolated even with a vaccine isn't reality the pandemic will come when they will have to open the country up regardless. The solution isn't going to be shutting everyone out because the internal economy will slowly kill everyone. There isn't a real solution even if there is a vaccine so instead of isolation prepare for containment of the problem when the number goes up and it will just as the sun rises each morning.

 

Instead of continue spending on building new roads and billions and trillions allocated to bring in local tourist and abroad get ready for the real pandemic by showing the world how it could be done and the money is there just spend it where the problem exist now and for future viruses or emergencies by providing locations through the provinces with front line workers training, equipment, portable hospital and housing.

 

This article got one thing right in the survey that " testing should be free "  to everyone instead of all this due pricing nonsense and insurance for the virus. Isolation isn't the cure all if it was I recommend not allowing any Thai or operate a vehicle of any kind! Were Thais told of the two recent articles if true that their government predicted 60% of small business will fail and after the Rayong incident there were 30% cancellation of hotels rooms in Pattaya.

Have you done a poll to enforce your belief that many posters on TV live in Tourist areas.  I think you need to check a little bit closer.  Many of us either live in Bangkok or are spread out in the provinces.  There are also many that are from overseas that live here with there families, but are currently locked out.  Some insight is needed before a statement can be made suck as what was made by lumping us all in as tourist living expats, and bar visitors.....

How such pitifully small poll sampling’s can be reported as the will of the people is beyond stupid

sorry i miss the part where he mentioned prostitutes, can you point it out for me please?

The 90 % from the poll must be all ok for money income work ect . The others might have to leave the holiday resorts and go back home to the rice fields .
